MB, I had a go on most of them as well - Munsters would need to play more to form a proper opinion. Iron Maiden & Metallica didn't do it for me, and Deadpool I didn't get to play. Twilight Zone had 2 games on, but don't know what most things do on it yet, just hitting the ball around mostly -...
Its 4 to start with. Think the idea is that if its successful they'll use profits to buy more of the pricier machines later - will be one to have another look at in a few months and see what happens. Its about 2 hours from me, but I have the big disadvantage that there are no commercially run...
PS, also been playing Hitman 2 on PC and who did I stand behind waiting for a machine, yes Agent 47 aka barcode man - absolute splendid job for the CosPlay did take me a moment to realise it wasn't just someone dressing very smartly!
Another one gone beyond the hypothetical into the actual and opened 2 weeks ago. https://www.retroarcade.co/ Much more arcade machines than pinball, and includes a licensed bar.
Funny what you can see when waiting to play a machine, but not see when its right there in front of you. Had 2 games on NBA Fastbreak, and when I came back to it later saw the extra flipper and ball in the backbox. Fun table, even though I still don't know what half the shots do.
Found...

Looking forward to tomorrow, event at Manchester is even bigger than at Blackpool. Not just pinball either (looking at the floorplan, even though there are over 60 machines, takes up less than 10% of the space), who knew there had been a Kickstarter for...
I think its now safe to say that nobody has more details about coin/ticket/part drops other than Zen themselves. As to patching it if its only you and half a dozen others reading your posts that do it they will probably just leave it as it is since it won't be possible to get to that stage...
Thanks Lroy, found that one and had a brief go on it - will have to try and post a proper score later, I do (theoretically at least) know what to aim for on that table!
Forgot about the switching in beta from before the first Williams pack, so its still the same with betas for packs 4, 3, etc...
Another bit of a gap in tournaments so I've put another one on this week. Avengers classic but with 4 rather than 3 balls, 5 attempts. Not a table I've played before, but this seems a good week to try it.
Same as the last one its under jwillan.
Think I've found another bug with Safe Cracker. Playing 2 player hotseat on my laptop flippers stopped working after awhile (Steam controller was still working as it was still changing the rollovers), happened 3 times and on the third time the ball also got stuck after launching, stopped in the...
Lordy, mobile pinball doesn't just mean smartphones.

Also just occurred to me what it would be called if the machines were set to free play. You hear of it all the time, people doing what their name sounds like.
Just got me looking at the pre-2018 podcasts. Nos. 1-10 are indeed not there. nos. 11 & 13 have 404 file not found.
Top episode from 2015 (no. 33) is there and has relevance to current Zen tables.
One of the most memorable episodes https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6qt2l3
Think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJdrlWR-yFM is the oddest one they ever did - taken an unusual idea to its illogical conclusion! Sort of conversation that would happen in a pub but instead of it ending with that...
Sounds exactly like one of the bits they used to have on Top Gear that began "How hard can it be?".
Still, location CHECK, rent CHECK, head full of ideas CHECK, electricity costs HOW MUCH?
If you are going further down this theoretical rabbit hole, has anyone done a rough calculation of...
I predict that Zen will do something for May 4th - most likely a sale on some Star Wars tables, but could be further details about this. After all, if Mel Kirk is asking people to ask "Why?" it stands to reason that before long an answer to that will be given.
Taken me ages, but I was trying to get the achievement for this table - ended up finally getting it, and then got just about everything else on the table and finished Rule the Universe. Saw the upper echelon's of the scoreboard, and not for the first time wonder how pinballwiz got a massively...
Lots of pinball collectors in the area would open up a different much lower risk possibility. Get machines from collectors on loan and split the proceeds - third to the loaner, 35-45% on running costs/maintenance/rent, remainder (hopefully) profit.
