My mates moan like bugger at any mention of pinball now, apart from the guys coming to Ramsgate...
My far better half just laughs and thinks they're silly. But of course a pair of jimmy choos sandals at God knows what cost are perfectly sensible...
At 6 foot 2 and 17 stone Nik, the only thing...
I'm right with you Doped.. Earlier in the thread you'll see turbine mentioning a pub in Central London. £10 entry, all pins to free play plus a tourney? Not for me. Couple of beers in a pub with a pin, perfect. That said, I'd definitely go with friends on a non tourney night.
Did pinbeer for 5...
It's either London or more than likely the south west. Easier than driving into north London....
You can always get the wife one of these....

It's always the same Nik... God barfs in your breakfast yet again.....
Looks like a good array of pins though, similar to the London meets I was looking at online. BBQ, beer and pins. Does life get better?
I'm sure you'll be fine for next time....
Absolutely agree with David here. Farmerjohn, I was hopeless, but just practiced. Lots. As you get more confident, you get to know where trapping is easy, making control of the ball much easier......
Have a watch of this from PAPA. It really helps...
I have to say I wasn't looking forward to this table. I dimly remember playing it when I was a kid on the isle of wight way back when.
Now, I'm a huge fan. This is one of the best tables in TPA for me. Would love to see more of the same ilk
I have to say Turbine, I was there a few weeks ago and I can't remember it either. Looks like its up the street a bit. Hope it's not one of those cramped underground places
If I've got time next week during the day, bar Wednesday, I'll make a point of having a walk down
I'm seriously thinking about checking that out Turbine Probably not for a competition but for a laugh. It's tucked away a bit in Middlesex street, but looks good.... They must be renting the games out. My money is from Liberty Games in Epsom. If I was getting a pin for any reason, I'd get it...
Just a quick point here guys, the indicators showing what state the pin is in (1 through 5 I think) aren't always accurate.
Hate to think people are going out of their way to find a machine in poor state of repair, or disrepair.
Apparently all the machines in Ramsgate pinball museum are 5...
Just been down to Hastings for work, had a look round but the area seems to have gone through an awful decline. A few arcades but not a pin in sight... Sad times.
The good news is that huge investment is coming. The pier will rise again. Local industry is recovering. Regeneration funds are on...
I'm in the north west from time to time, around Northwich, if that counts as North West. Usually around London though. A few mates from Croydon and Leicester and I, are planning on a trip to the Pinball Museum in Ramsgate on the south coast at some point.
Would be really interested in what you...
Not at all.
Yes there are issues, a few make tables unplayable until they're fixed, but fixed they'll get. Maybe not quickly but they will.
I agree. Now the kickstarter is over, maybe fixes will come quicker still.
Bottom line, for the price paid, I feel I'm getting great quality, excellent...
Thanks for clarifying Mike.
I can totally understand you not replying to all the niggles that come up. Really good to know that you guys take notice of what's on the forum though. A lot of companies wouldn't bother!
Thanks again
