FarSight sends them in at the same time. There's no telling how long each is going to take. Even if they were inclined to hold back the NA version so that they released on the same/next day, they wouldn't know how long to hold back the NA version. But why hold it back? This is like some people...
After one of the former PR reps for FarSight spent a fair amount of time gathering our thoughts about what should be fixed and improved only to have absolutely nothing done with that information, I lost most of my hope that anything that we post here will make a difference to how TPA updates are...
I agree that there are many things that should be done before 3D because they should have been done before release. I disagree about the market segment of 3D TVs. I don't consider 75 million to be a small US market share. I do think that FarSight should fix these things before they do 3D but I'm...
Its not exactly the same. I've read in this forum that there's a difference in what the core game comprises in each market. SCEE does their own approval on their own schedule. They've rejected things in the past that SCEA has accepted.
The PS4 can do up to 1080p @ 120fps. When you run in 3D then games would drop to 1080p @ 60fps. There would be no degradation in the textures or physics. The implementation of 3D would not change how much the textures and physics can be improved. The only difference is that the 3D viewer would...
I got my PS4 back today or rather a PS4. Has a different serial number so I'm assuming it's a different console. Looks like I'm back in business on the PS4 side. Any idea how I get my Sony extended warranty transferred to this console?
I agree with you but I think FarSight is limited to what they can do by their sales. We don't know what their exact finances are but I get the feeling from talking to the guys at the game shows and those that post on here that they're doing all that they can within their budget. If they budget...
It was moderately functional on the PS3 side, wasn't it? I assume it was something that Sony just recently became aware of since they just disabled it on the PS4 and PS3.
Communication is one of those things that I hate about the gaming industry. With very few exceptions it is almost non-existent. FarSight is actually better than most. It would be interesting if a video game company started treating us like a corporate IT department treats their internal customer.
I didn't say that the content was going to dry up. I just said that if it dries up then that's the end of updates.
In all fairness, they have exclusive licenses.
I'd rather have buggy tables than no tables at all. It's not like there are a bunch of companies competing for the exclusive...
That's why my posts were hypothetical. But I agree that it is silly to call someone rich because they buy a TV or a new car. Enjoy your new "toys" and try to have the good fun!
I have a passive 3D TV and preferred that over the first generation of active 3D TVs. I just bought a new TV this year with active 3D and a lot has changed! My new active glasses are just slightly heavier, maybe 10% more, than the passive, only cost about $20 and use cheap, easy to replace...
