Not really sure what you mean by that. Was that intended to be some sort of snide remark, or what?
It's not a personal concern of mine, I'm already satisfied I won't be losing it based on the scattered bits of info on the matter we've gotten. I'm just saying, it'd be nice if they released this...

It'd be nice if they'd just compile a complete list of what needs to be purchased for every platform in order to keep TOTAN, as well a list of any platforms where it's not possible to keep it (if there are any other than Switch).
Because I've seen the TOTAN question asked A LOT.
p.s. And yes...
Although it's true that SG has used a few of WMS' IPs to create gambling machines, I doubt that's why SG decided to obtain WMS. From 1994 to the acquisition in 2013, WMS operated as a successful gambling machine company. SG most likely purchased them to eliminate a competitior from the casino...
I'd love to be wrong, but as far as digital pinball purposes go, I'm gonna have to vote "they're going to sit on them and let them rot" with Matt and Blkthorne.
Voted for Seawitch, Mystery Castle, 2001, Catacomb and Tag-Team Pinball.
Asteroid Annie, Cheetah, Iron Maiden, Spirit of '76 and Pop-A-Card would be my next choices.
Just something to do with the licensing issue. They had no choice.
Some of the more recent Stern tables feature TV screens as displays in the backboxes instead of DMDs.
I'm guessing 2018 will be dedicated to just getting AC/DC, Mustang and Star Trek ported, getting Whoa Nellie and Buck Hunter added to both games, working on their ability to recreate Stern LED/LCD screens, and maybe/hopefully working on a Capcom deal. So instead of a "Season 8" wishlist (since I...
That's great news. Hopefully they can get the Capcom license.
I wonder if anyone will ever figure out who (if anyone) currently owns the Game Plan copyright.
Two EM 2-packs? I like it.
You know, seeing them organize a Gottlieb EM pack for the Switch version makes me hopeful that they are open to doing more Gottlieb EMs in the future, and organizing them into further EM-only packs. That way, the people who dislike EMs can just ignore them.
That's why the update didn't kill TOTAN for you.
Automatic updates can be turned off under the system settings, and although the Switch will pester you to update them, you can simply click "Start Software".
I think rooting for them to get LCD recreations up and running is something we can all get behind. It would certainly give us some great new possibilities for future tables.
What was said about Capcom? That isn't in the timing notes.
