I noticed that the same skewed artwork on the front panel also exists at the main menu where you select the table. So it seems likely that FarSight's Firepower machine is skewed as well since it *appears* that the main menu table select image is a photo of the actual machine...but then again, it...
I'm quite happy with the current schemes...I use either scheme C or E (good job, Kevlar). I suppose no matter how many schemes there are, there will be those that won't be able to find one that works 100% to their satisfaction. As it stands now, the schemes we do have are a HUGE improvement over...
Agreed. I wish this table was released as a Pro version rather than PinBot since I like it much better...but then again, PinBot was/is likely much more popular. I wonder though what the exact criteria is for which tables are released as Pro versions.
Ah...so that's what's required to do a remote save. I seldom login when playing since alot of the time, I'm away from an internet connection. I regularly do local saves though. Thanks for shedding some light.
The iOS beta team must be small and/or the team is limited in the devices that are available to them. The difficult thing as far as beta testing is concerned is having access to a wide range of devices and iOS versions at their disposal. I beta test an app called MouseWait and we have the same...
You also have to consider that it's a holiday weekend. Even though FarSight may have worked through the night & submitted the new version, it's up to Apple to approve it and make it available...we are likely waiting for that approval. Did you try the work-around in the bug thread? (Sorry, I'm...
What a great post to read! Made my day reading it! :D It's great to hear how these digital versions of the old arcade classics (video games and pinball) are allowing everyone to enjoy them once again...or even for the first time!
Yes, the "Destroy Centaur" at every single ball launch is about the only thing I dislike about the table. Yes, I realize to fully emulate the table with no changes requires this but it still doesn't make it NOT annoying.
I never played either of the two before they were released on TPA...They are both great (and even more so with the new nudge zones). Centaur however seems to be the one I'm playing the most between the two. Something about it...the "dark" feel of it, B&W table art, sounds, whatever) keeps me...
Having a user-configurable zone system might also open up the possibility for additional issues. I didn't think any of the schemes would work for me but I found that scheme C works great after using it.
This is turning out to be an outstanding update, aside from the crash issues. I reverted back to my iPhone 4 (not the S) under iOS 6.1 to do some testing and found quite a surprise when all tables ran pretty much, stutter-free. The worst running seemed to be TZ and even that was fluid enough...
There's absolutely NOTHING wrong with the FREE version...I've had both on all my devices since I first downloaded it. It's a valid and useable work-around until they sort the issue. Use it and play or don't use it and wait...
