Bad News (App Store approval delays)

Funny, I beta test a Disneyland App called MouseWait which is community driven and relies on users at the Disneyland Resort parks here in SoCal to input wait times for rides and attractions. Maybe developers need a similar app...I suppose it could be called AppWait.

    The NEW new ipad!

The bad thing about the Retina display is that all bad textures and graphical anomalies are never given the chance to "hide"...;)

    The NEW new ipad!

I have an iPad 3rd Gen and PA runs perfectly fine on it with no stutters or issues as far as performance goes (and this iPad is Retina as well). I really don't see how it could be any better on the 4th Gen and it seems the way things are going, I doubt if better visuals will be implemented (bugs...

    Table Selection Menu

Yes, the menu definitely needs to be updated. When it's a few games, swiping between them is not a big deal. With the number of games out now and more on the way, the swiping is getting really old. I have reverted to counting the swipes and seeing if it's more efficient to swipe left or right to...

For the love of God! (bug frustrations)

Agreed. Enough with new table releases and concentrate on fixing the existing bugs, some of which should've been resolved long ago.

Bug iOS Version 1.2.0 Bugs And Feedback

Some findings regarding Circus Voltaire and it's screen scrolling/locking issues briefly described: After locking the ball(s) in the Highwire Ramp, the screen will enter a locked state will prevent you from seeing: 1. The plunger shot screen 2. The backglass when entering Cannon Ball Run...

Trying to get my tables added on to I Touch 4

This is a common issue because there are two version of The Pinball Arcade...the FREE version and the .99 cent version. See the following topic for more completeness on the resolution. http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/2165-iOS-and-Pinball-Arcade-on-multiple-devices To put it in a...

    What is a "Pro" Table?

Agreed but I dislike the asking price. As it stands now, I doubt very much that I'd pay $4 just to "look" at the table since I very likely wouldn't be using any other of the PRO options. Drop the price to $.99 per table and I'll consider it. Better yet, PRO mode at a fixed purchase price for...

iOS Version 1.1.9 Bugs & Feedback

Another bug verification on Black Hole using 1.1.9. Ball gets stuck in the lower playfield. I have reverted back to 1.1.8 which does not seem to have the issue

    Back up your scores/goals

I've confirmed that this does indeed work, provided you backup/restore all of the pba*.* files. You can also copy your scores from one iOS device (ex: iPhone) to another (ex: iPad) and have the same scores on all your devices. However, I don't think the scores have any way of syncing between...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

I wish you knew what it was as well since it may have helped others in your situation. Sorry that it had to take a "restore as new" to resolve it but sometimes it *is* better to just wipe the slate clean & start over (mumbleWindowsPCmumble). Great to hear that it's all working for you! Enjoy...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

One last thing you can try (I'm pretty much out of ideas here), go into the Wi-Fi settings (Settings>Wi-Fi>(select your Wi-Fi network)>Blue Arrow) and make certain that your iPhone(s) match your iPad's settings exactly. There may be something in there that's different (I have no idea what)...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

@boffer You mentioned having all of the tables on the iPad. Are you getting those same iPhone errors on the iPad? But then again, if you have all the tables installed & they're working on the iPad, the device likely won't need to access the table/purchases restore function unless you wipe all...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

Sounds more like internet connectivity issues to me through the App. Do you have any other issues with connectivity on your iDevice, like when using Safari, the App Store, Mail, etc? Try to power-cycle the iPad. Try a non-destructive reset (no apps, music, settings, etc will be lost): With the...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

@boffer This solution was posted to me on the Pinball Arcade Facebook page: Just to clarify: both versions means the free version along with the paid version *installed on the device at the same time*. After your purchases/tables are restored, you can delete one of the versions (seems like...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

The issue has been 100% resolved. I'll also assume it was on Farsight's end on the purchase authentication but now I have no way to verify anything since everything is working as it should. 1. I just now totally wiped out & uninstalled the apps (both paid & free) 2. I reinstalled only the paid...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

Maybe not a bug per se, but it's confusing nonetheless (If you want to remove the "Bug" from the topic title, feel free since I could not). If I would've made the table purchase using the "$.99 cent" version rather than the "free" version, would the situation then be reversed? Regardless, this...

iOS - Bug iOS and Pinball Arcade on multiple devices

The following was posted to the Facebook page but thought I'd repost it here to aid others in this issue. Now why on earth are there two versions, thus causing this confusion? Can this be corrected so that BOTH the "$.99 cent" version and the "free" version both allow you to correctly restore...
