Yes as long as you don't nudge hard twice in succession you are pretty good. They need to either tone down the nudge effectiveness a whole lot or make the bob more sensitive. At the same time nudging off of surfaces seems to be about right most of the time but you can still get a pretty big...
Since the ball is made of vertices and basically it's collision mesh must be a myriad of flat surfaces, they could assign each surface a number and whichever flat surface makes contact with another surface could be what determines the "random" (for lack of a better word) angle of occlusion...
I'm just going to start repeating the Getaway on all new speculation threads...with High Speed, it's been shown that this tactic does indeed work.
In fact...I think I'll just go create threads for packs 28, 29 and 30 now, you know, for the sake of efficiency.
Thanks man,
I don't want to fix what isn't broken so I will keep the setup, I do like that aspect...if only i could record in 1080p 60fps for that extra clarity but I find that 1080p gives me some wicked moire effect as well.
I'm pretty excited for the next video as it's also one of my...
This looks absolutely beautiful. Even if they hadn't promised to update the physics I would have been impressed. They still look and play wonderfully.
It's a good time to be a pinball fan indeed. A really good time. Thanks for the videos
I think VP deals with this using a "scatter angle" variable.
Basically the ball can deviate from the "expected trajectory" when bouncing off of an object within a certain angle, probably determined by random number or something. So let's say surface A has a scatter angle of 1 degree (it's been...
Hello Everyone,
After some positive feedback on my last video, I've made one for Big Shot
Please remember, Windows Display settings should be set to landscape but your monitor should be set to portrait. I have no other ideas on how to shoot in portrait for the best pinball view while keeping...
Ultimate 3d setup would be dual 1080p projectors with 90 degree offset linear polarization (similar setup to imax 3d) on a 120" silver coated screen. Of course to the tube of 8 grand and probably only a good option for the PC, unless there is some sort of device that can separate the image from...
If they go back and fix the issues in season 1 then it will be nearly impossible to top. Unless of course season 3 gets the getaway. Then I would be something like Bonk after eating meat.

Season one sure has a lot going for it as it was packed with stellar tables, but is also hampered with some big quality issues revolving around circus voltaire, black knight, twilight zone being to easy (for some, certainly not for me) and the like. Despite all that it is hard to argue against...
