yeah lack of response or update is frustrating. So annoying to get a decent score and find it never gets onto leaderboards.
If FR have closed them for maintenance then fair enough, but please tell us. Acknowledgment of the problem would be nice
so are the leaderboards working or not? If not why not? Why have they not been fixed by now? I've not seen a response from FR regarding the leaderboards so far.
all these pre game demos are probably running off a PC right now anyway............I might get excited when I actually see the released versions......until then I'm very much happy with my current gen. The games industry has gone very stale as of late.
man.... given the current glut of issues, that flipper gap issue has to be way down the list of priority. Majority of my drains on MM are via outlanes.
same on Firepower...............looks like leaderboards have been down since yesterday........... same might apply to FS email.............................
gotta say the N7 has been getting more and more TPA play time recently. N7 really comes into its own when travelling. Keeping me sane at the moment.
Sure the Xbox will get some usage when the updates finally start to appear, but my preference is definately starting to shift.
seems like the server responsible for highscores is unavailable for what ever reason ....... which causes a score posting failure. There needs to be some kind of handshaking protocol between TPA and score server which is hack proof and will retry on failures.
high scores really are important...
so does TPA automatically adjust the textures and GPX quality based on the device spec?
my take on the bottom line is:
+ TPA spread across too many platforms
+ TPA team is too small
+ releases have to be monthly in order to generate income for salaries
+ TPA ROM emulation engine is CPU...
when entering your high score on Dr Dude, rather than the 3 characters appear in the normal window, they appear on the score board at the top. Is this correct as per the ROM or a new approach for TPA?
thanks Ryan and the team for getting these tables ready before the weekend. They kept me entertained during a 10 hr flight to Australia yesterday. Didn't think I'd enjoy FIREPOWER but it's so addictive, really enjoy it. The goals are a little easy but it plays real nice. Just a shame...
Agreed, just had a quick go on Dr dude, there was major slow down and stuttering, never seen a new table do this before. Ball physics seem really nice though (ball feels weighty)
Nexus 7
Edit : I played again but turned off the Wi-Fi and it was fine. Perhaps it's just background stuff on...
I agree, but given Farsights limited resources (small team) it's unlikely to happen. They develop on one platform and port it across to everything else. This helps to reduce dev time + testing time and easier management of code across platforms.
