If my 5 year old gaming laptop is considered a high performance pc then sure you're right but no mobile device can push what it does. They aren't catching up they are moving forward, sure but PCs move forward just as fast if not faster.
An average gaming rig will always..always outperform...
Sorry I forgot my conclusion before hitting send.
For all intents and purposes. The results are pretty well the same. In the end it doesn't really matter that you can feather the flippers as it results in a full force shot.
Your description of the flipper behavior isn't quite accurate
You can feather the flippers in tpa, it's just that it doesn't have the desired effect. The flippers in tpa have no acceleration so on a real machine if you only return from end of stroke say 5 or 10% and flip again, the flipper...
It entertains me to no end that people can even THINK that mobile devices can match PC hardware. PC's are a large form factor for a reason. Sure the iPhone7 might actually be able to display graphics that might look like the original XBOX, but they will always be at least three generations...
Since people decided it was worth it. He also listed many more reasons that pro mode was worth it. Also if an operator had activated family mode on a machine on location you wouldn't be able to change it anyway so it's not a given that it's included since the tables in tpa don't by default...
I'm sharing the faith as well. Personally, while they could use some improvements, I wouldn't consider the table quality with small exception. To be bad so I imagine it should only get better.
No one outside of fs, zz top or anyone trying to license their ip really knows for sure. I would like to think that they would be pretty reasonable about it
They did mention that they had resources working on other non pinball related projects. Which insinuates that they might have a bit thinner staff resources working on tpa.
Hey Ton,
Welcome to TeePaff,
I will recommend picking up season 1 (pro or not is up to you) if you are new. You will save a boatload on it and you really are getting a lot of very highly regarded tables. Season 2 is very good, but the tables seem to have a bit more of a niche appeal as a lot...
I won't go back to iOS ever, however, but look at me I'm green with envy here. Please port this to Android...bugs and all, i'm more forgiving than some, I mean, i like TPA's Circus Voltaire.
