Today I decided to try the some tables in 1080p again, lately if I have been playing at all it has been in 720p and while playing Taxi (PS3) I could not believe the amount of times I was able to pick up Pin Bot it was ridiculous and I wasn't even aiming for the shot too that is the strange part...
In Zen Pinball 2 you can adjust the flipper sensitivity in the operators menu and it does not effect your online scores, Marvel and Zen 1 also had that feature as well. Basically it works like this all their tables have a set ratio to flipper sensitivity (the amount of time you press the button...
Farsight liked my input on facebook when I mentioned another company that uses a flipper sensitivity adjustment, I'm waiting to see how this plays out on their end.
Was scores racing with a guy on PS3 and he has beaten some of my all time high scores, I'm waiting for a flipper lag patch just because our TV doesn't have a game mode and I've told him countless times that a lot of people experience lag form TPA on PS3. He does not come to these forums so he...
That setting doesn't work for me either, but thank you for the tip. The end all to eliminate the lag altogether for me was hooking up my old CRT TV and playing in 480i. smooverr what version of the PS3 are you using ? I'm running a 250gb slim on a 50" plasma TV with no game mode the closest...
Played Black Hole last night and had a ball locked in the lower playfield and shot another one there, it ended up back at the plunger. Had issues with the ball going through solid objects like walls etc. as well.
Think they addressed the lag issue a bit anyway, I'm playing on a 50" plasma with no game mode, 720p settings, and my controller plugged in. Knocked off my all time high on Taxi today before work and those flippers are moving a lot better. Anyone else care to share some thoughts on this ?
I agree that it is pretty hard the best score to date that I have I did it while hooked to my CRT TV (eliminates all lag). If anything we need more camera angles like we had on WPHOF on that game you could really see the upper deck of the table very well and it looked and played better...
This is going to be one of those tables I play just to reach Wizard goals then never play again or very little anyway. Same thing happened with Ripley's I'm hoping they add some older Stern tables like Sea Witch and Catacomb.
