I have same probrem at August tournament. I kept my chair in gold tournament on July tournament but today I log in it shows the bronze tournament.

About tournament timer issue... When you start a game, the tournament timer is small. If you pause and restart the game, then "RESUMING" timer will appear and the tournament timer becomes big as RESUMING timer. When you pause the game again or a game ends, tournament timer becomes small as start.
