I know its beating an old drum, but just wanted to add another vote to see this with PC or Android! Never played the game (as I own no iOS devices), but the pics and vids look great!
There looks to be hope coming to Android in the future. The recently anounce Android L, coming this fall, has major improvments regarding audio lag. Now, im not sure if these improvements will be automatic with Andorid L, or coding changes will need to be made with TPA, but at least this look...
Ryan, good luck on your future endeavors and congrats on the new baby.I have really appreciated reading your posts and your interactions with us Android users.
I played a bit more, plunging at all differnt strengths. I did manage to miss the hole a few times, but i'd say a good 80% of the time I end up in the hole on plunge. And a full plunge seems to always end up in the hole. I doubt this is the correct behavior, but not sure. I am using a Nexus...
Every time I plunge, I end up in the hole for the Gunfight. I watched some Youtube videos and I saw many plunger shots not stopping at the Gunfight hole. Maybe I am just really lucky on all my plunges so far, but it does not seem right. Granted, I have never played this table in real life.
Brakel, i too have the 65 inch f7100. Can you post what settings you use in game mode? I have all read that if you choose the input name as PC, it will reduce lag even more, but disable any additional picture processing that game mode alone uses.
I just noticed you posted about the same bug I have experienced with 2 player, using the touchpad to click continue makes the game tilt and do other crazy things. Was there a time on Ouya that using the touchpad to click continue worked without causing the tilt? I just got my Ouya so I have...
I have also tried turning nudge off to see if that was somehow causing the tilt, but had no effect. as soon as you use the touchpad to click the continue button, no matter how careful, player 2 just goes nuts and usually titlts. Sometimes the ball seems to already be in play. Sometimes the...
Ryan,
I figured out what you meant by the touch screen. I had no idea the Ouya controller supported this. Well, the problem is this doesnt really work. It does allow you to click the continue button for player 2, but then things get crazy. The machine will instantly tilt, and sometime other...
I totally understand that if its not making you guys money its hard to get the time to fix. But this is sort of a game breaking bug for multiplayer... That said any workaround for it would be great. I am not sure what you mean by the touchscreen on the controller? Is there a mode that pops up...
Very interesting Stardust. My initial impression of the quiality of the game on Ouya was pretty bad. But I only ever played on a 7" nexus tablet, and blowing this up to my 65" LED tv I think made it look less impressive. Plus, I was playing landscape which i never really played. Always...
Ryan,
I found a pretty major bug in the Ouya version. One of the things I was looking forward to doing with this version was to play 2 player vs. the wife. When you set the game up for 2 players, and the first player finishes, a dialouge box pops up saying its player 2 turn. The problem is...
I have an Ouya coming today, as it was Amazon's deal of the day Tuesday for $69.99 and figured why not. I currently play TPA on a Nexus 7 Android tablet, but am interested in being able to play on my big screen. Its obvious that the Ouya version is not that popular, but I am interested to hear...
Count me in as someone who would love to see this feature! I know a lot of people aren't on 4.4 yet, but they will get there. I would love the extra screen realestate.
