After playing more stuff, here are some I want to see:
Williams:
Indiana Jones
Rollergames
High Speed
Cyclone
Fish Tales
Bad Cats
Jokerz
Earthshaker
White Water
Big Guns
Black Knight 2000
Star Trek TNG
Jack*Bot
Space Station
Red and Ted's Road Show
Bally:
Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man
Addams Family...
I also heard Axl had a dispute with Slash over Rock Band 3. Slash helped with the design of the game, so I would imagine that would cause some problems.
This is definitely a table I want to see for Pinball Arcade. It appears Rebellion, who also owns the rights to Pinball Dreams, has the rights to Judge Dredd. It's not based on the movie. Farsight, is this table possible?
I'm a bit curious about how this will be handled. Maybe a vote off for the one that is the most popular when EMs come around? There are also a few late EMs that had SS games near the same time like Mata Hari. The EM is extremely rare for that one, though.
Isn't this beating a dead horse? I understand that the engine has to be designed around the emulated MPU and that VP, FP, and Pinball Arcade all use different engines. Many of the physical aspects can't be emulated and are simulated. Future Pinball doesn't even use rom emulation. Farsight put a...
While this isn't always the case, but I would think some of the more simple games would be more balanced in some ways due to having less things to deal with.
I played more of Pinball Dreams DOS. I like it now, but it still has some odd quirks with the physics that aren't in other versions. Fantasies is my favorite game in the pack so far, but Illusions is pretty good and the Spidersoft tables, despite some wonky physics, aren't as bad as I thought...
The first post mentioned they aren't on the poll becuase they are Bally machines and that they were left off to keep the list shorter, but Elvira was semi-confirmed (a Farsight post mentioned that it's being announced soon), so it doesn't really need to be on the poll. I think the unannounced...
I would like to see the original operator settings, but it doesn't matter to me if they are in a menu or on the DMD or dip switches like the real machines. I woldn't mind seeing a setting for incline, but that would probably be a pain to implement. I was surprised to see that the DOS versions of...
EM means electromechanical. Frontier is Solid State, not EM. EM is like an analog clock that has no computer and only clockwork inside, but is still run by electricity. SS is more like a digital clock with a computer inside. Some of the really old machines before flippers are PM, as in Pure...
yeah. I agree it's a good list. I want to try that Mousin' Around machine. It sounds fun. I think it's System 11, as well. It would be cool, if they both came to Pinball Arcade, if it was released together with Bad Cats.
I wish there was a site that had a list just for 1975-1985 SS machines too since early SS games are pretty different from newer ones. Nice site, though. I'm surprised T3 made it on the list. From what I read, it doesn't sound bad, but reviews seemed mixed. However, I noticed a few of the...
I know Zen are actually huge fans of Farsight, so while it probably won't happen (especially with some table assets possibly belonging to WB, the owners of DC comics), there is at least a slight bit of hope that they will let Farsight use the Marvel license.
Also, there was a claim on facebook...
This only happened once, but when I did a backhand shot into the ball capture area, the ball got stuck instead of the voice saying "captured". I tried launching the ball, shaking the maching, and calling the attendent, but nothing worked.
