I haven't read the rules for most of the tables, so I haven't a clue what "troll bombs" are!
I can see how a multi-purpose plunger control could work, but that's the kind of specialist control that would likely push the price of a proposed Pinball iCade beyond the point where it would have...
My thoughts exactly. Otherwise I'd hope it would be an option you could toggle off since I wouldn't want to look down at the Gamepad during a pinball game.
I broke the 500,000 mark last week, but annoyingly one of my Facebook friends is over 900K and I simply must beat him! I do like that visibility of friend scores as a push to do better. Can't wait for the Gamecenter update - in fact the promise of Gamecenter support in the Pinball Arcade is the...
I plan on getting an iCade to play Atari Greatest Hits and Namco arcade games (Midway, well, it would be nice if they put some effort into properly emulating the games like Atari and Namco did). Although I like the idea of one for pinball, it seems like it could get pretty complicated with talk...
All of them, at which point I will definitely trade in my Wii game. I don't care too much about Jive Time, but Sorcerer should definitely make it into the Pinball Arcade.
ah that explains it. I often play at lunch in an area where I don't have Wi-Fi; figures that's when I break a high score!
I sincerely hope this won't be the case with Gamecenter and that we'll have our current high scores for each table nicely uploaded there.
I was thrilled when I finally unlocked it, but I haven't played it enough to form an opinion. I can name three EM tables from the Gottlieb Collection I'd want before this however.
I'm sure the consoles will always be playing catch-up because I cannot imagine that most sales aren't happening on the iOS and Android platforms due to lack of overhead and a speedier publication timeline.
As long as they can afford the dev kits and port their engine I expect to see this on...
Shouldn't we be ranking the Gottlieb tables as well? I know Big Shot and Strikes 'n' Spares (ugh) was mentioned somewhere, so they're definitely in the pipeline too.
I am also a big fan of the older stuff, but this collection is so solid I will buy every release from it, so it's hard to put...
This really is a nice board and active enough that I check it daily. The TVonDVD website is also great Gord - keeps me in the loop on upcoming MST3K releases!
That will be pretty cool, though I wonder if people won't be distracted by looking down. I suppose you could hold the controller up in front of you, but I can't imagine the Gamepad will be that lightweight.
I definitely plan on getting the Wii U version (when I get a Wii U) and suspect I'll end...
That looks amazing. I never bought these early Littlewing tables for the Mac, mainly because they didn't seem to have been updated for OS X, but also they looked a bit flat compared to later stuff like Monster Fair. It's nice to see them really putting some effort into this release, but to be...
Actually they've been chiming in a lot in the past few days, even on this very topic.
I've never had a problem with the way this table plays, but it seems they are able to fix bugs and release new stuff at the same time, so I'm not feeling an either/or situation exists. I for one am satisfied...
Why would anyone post something so silly? You don't even have to accept an update for an app so how would your tables be forcibly deleted? We don't even know the terms of the licenses that Farsight negotiated, do we?
Me too. I really like Bride of Pinbot, which was cool because I never played it in the arcade, but I played the heck out of Pin Bot with a mate at a pizza/burger joint in the Pruneyard mall in San Jose a million years ago. Definitely one of my faves.
I've requested controller support as I'm not really keen on keyboard controls for games and they have announced it's going to get updated - just a question of when!
