I ordered this book a few months ago, and I completely forgot about it after it arrived, until today.
The book is a MUST for probably everyone on this forum, as it's 320 pages of pinball awesomeness. There are tons of photos of tables spanning all ages, plus some flyers, shots of the insides of...
I've changed a couple of things on the forum, which some may have already noticed:
-You can use avatars (80x80 and approx 30k)
-There are now 25 posts per page (10 was the default, and it drove me crazy)
-There are now 25 threads per page
-There's a logo for the forum (big thanks to jrolson!)...
Great news for Zen Pinball fans, as Zen Pinball 2 will be hitting the PS3 and PS Vita later this spring:

Awesome stuff.
Some of you may have noticed a few spammers appearing over the past two weeks. I appreciate those of you that used the "report post" to notify me of the spam threads; those were quickly deleted and the users were banned. I also went through ALL the registered users and banned anyone that was set...
Awesome, awesome news posted to the Facebook page by FarSight:
That is extremely awesome. I don't own a PS Vita, and I wasn't planning on buying one, but it appears as though FarSight is trying to get me to buy it with this announcement...
I emailed Silverball Studios about a month ago and asked if they were planning on releasing Pro Pinball on iOS, and they responded and said:
When it comes to virtual pinball, those were 4 awesome, awesome games.
Edit:
Kickstarter is live...
This is definitely one of my favorite tables, and I figure I spent a few hundred dollars playing it one summer (every single day at a poll hall). I became the grand champion on the table, and a year and a half later I came back and I still had the top score.
Here's a promotional video for the...
FarSight Studios has reported that the XBox 360 version should be ready for download at the end of March. A date will be posted here once it's confirmed.
Update: The XBox website is now showing a release date of March 28 for the game.
Update 2: The game has been moved to April 4.
FarSight Studios has reported that the PS3 version should be ready for download at the end of March. A date will be posted here once it's confirmed.
As this is a PSN title, you'll need to have a Playstation Network ID, and a PSN account in order to download it. The game won't be available on disc.
It would be nice if the credits we earn from high scores and matches could be tracked, and counted towards something. Maybe in the future they could be used to unlock something in the game, such as different rubbers for the flippers.
Anyone else interested in tracking the credits?
Feel free to discuss your favorite tables here, including posting links to videos, photos, rule sheets, or other information about the table. Share your memories about the table, and tell everyone why it was a favorite, or why it was a quarter-eating monster.
Have a table to sell, or want to...
I'm sure many of us own the Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection that FarSight released on systems a few years ago. Since we may see all (or nearly all) of the tables released through Pinball Arcade, I'm curious which ones you'd buy again. Here's a list of tables from the PS3/360...
The ball diverter is missing from the right ramp - this allows the ball to go to the lock area, or ride the rails over to the left-hand side of the screen. It can be seen in the 360 video, but doesn't appear on the iOS or Android tables.
I picked up the Epic Quest table for Zen Pinball the other day, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. I already bought it for the PS3 when they accidentally released it in December, so I knew what the table was like. Nice, bright colors, and I enjoy the theme (the humor reminds me a bit of...
While I'll likely buy all the tables released for Pinball Arcade, my "OMG, I HAVE TO OWN THAT!" list is fairly short:
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Twilight Zone
Simpson's Pinball Party
I'd like to think I have a shot at all three of those, but I know Star Trek and Simpsons are likely...
My name is Gord Lacey, and I'm the admin of Pinball Arcade Fans.
After joining the Pinball Arcade Facebook page shortly after it was created, I noticed people asking the same thing over and over on the FB wall. Facebook is great for getting a message out and having people comment on it, but...
