Like the Android version 1.05:
The drawbridge (down) has no texture and is black.
The lights behind the castle are not working.
It is not possible to do a super skill shot (hold down left flipper and launch ball behind the castle).
I don't think it is possible to use troll bombs (am I wrong?)...
Steve Hinz: Any plans of a Nook Tablet version, aside from me having to root it?
The Pinball Arcade: The game runs great on the latest Nook! We will definitely be bringing out a version. Please don't ask for a timeline, though- we are working on Kindle Fire, PC, and 3DS versions right now (as...
UPDATE: From Farsight in response to their initial post: "The update was submitted last Monday but has not been reviewed by Apple yet. It typically takes Apple only a day to review an app, but the app can sit for a week or more waiting for review. We know it's frustrating!"
If you wanted to ask a question you could have written: “Has Farsight’s ‘fix’ submission been rejected by Apple again?
But you wrote: Farsights iPad3 'fix' submission has been rejected by Apple AGAIN!?
!? is not even technically proper grammar but most people associate it with incredulousness...
Asking for confirmation or clarification is one thing but your post from title to subject matter goes well beyond that. You are pretty much stating that the second update was rejected when FS didn't say that at all.
I strongly believe this is a case of poorly chosen wording. FS sends in the update, Apple queues it for about a week then they review it and either accept it or reject it. FS did not state that the update was rejected only that it would enter into review again in a few days (hopefully Monday or...
I think we (and Farsight) should move away from the idea of "monthly" releases and instead refer to them as "ongoing" or "frequent" or something like that. Instead of the table of the month they should simply have the featured table.
There is no need to paint themselves into a corner and given...
IF I remember correctly this appears to be an issue with the download timing out. Try downloading with strong (and fast) wifi connection and see if this helps.
I did some more reading and I really think HDCP over HDMI "could" be the problem. The 360 would not have this issue since it only used HDCP with the ill fated HD-DVD player and DVD movies but never games.
Of course it could always just be the system/game...
Maybe the issue has to do with the HDMI cables. If the PS3 uses High-bandwidth digital content protection (HDCP) and digital rights management (DRM) this could explain the problem. Has anyone tried using component cables instead?
I would be surprised to see Cirqus Voltaire since it needs to incorporate backglass tech. At this point I would think FS would shy away from introducing new features in order to concentrate on squashing bugs and optimizing the current builds.
I say Monster Bash and Taxi.
I agree completely, especially since no one playing the 360 version has mentioned lag issues (that I am aware of). Hopefully FS will be able to optimize the PS3 version to eliminate the issue.
