This is very interesting and informative, thank you. As a kid, the most I can remember about the sound from pinball machines was just how loud they were.
I have also noticed, along with BOP, Funhouse seems to have slightly better audio quality as well. I think what you mentioned might be...
That's what I was guessing. I suppose then, that if it does, my question is- is there any way to get higher quality sound in this game, or are we limited to the quality based on hardware/software of the period that the machine was using. Certainly they must compress the sound files for TPA...
I don't expect it to be done simultaneously. At the end of my post I eluded to the idea of a long term game plan that is sustainable, and that keeps everyone happy (developers and users).
Eh, I'm not even pissed off- it's more sort of like...frustration with a really great concept. This...
It's because the tables play differently on different devices, IMO, and because there have been multiple
Versions of the tables out on the iOS devices now, some of which were 'easier' than others. Just m opinion tho
It's also probably because most of the software sales currently go to mobile...
Please read my long post above, in reference to why I called the current state of things a 'mess.' It wasn't about DLC. In fact, I don't care all that much that PS3 hasn't gotten DLC yet.
Yup, read my post above.
People are 'foaming at the mouth' because they are passionate about the company; the want them to succeed, and it is somewhat heartbreaking to see this mess continue.
Xbox doesn't have an overwhelming market share.
Unit sales, 2009-2012:
PS3 market share:28.3% (~63 mil. units)
XBOX market share: 29.2% (~65mil. units)
Wii market share: 42.5% (~95 mil. units)
In fact, the ps3 has been outselling the xbox since 2010.

Want to report a bug- iPhone 4: 'nudging' is now much more sensitive. It's so sensitive, that sometimes I'll be trying to hit a flipper, and the game will mistake my 'tap' as a 'swipe' somehow, and the table will nudge. It's caused me to tilt at least once or twice mid-game. Anyone else...
How are sounds from the tables (e.g., the table-specific sound effects, voices, music, etc.) digitized into your software? Do you use the original 'master' audio files, or do you record the sounds with a mic? Is there any possibility of improving the sound quality of the tables? I have never...
I don't know if the original sound effects/voices/music,etc. sound this bad in real life, but I'd really be interested in an overall improvement in the sound quality of, well, everything. I don't care if it takes up more space on my iPhone/PS3/whatever.
The sound effects/music are a HUGE part...
This is getting ridiculous. He can take his money wherever he wants. He can burn it and use the ashes to fertilize his crops for all we care. Let him do it. He's stating why. Furthermore, I am starting to get a little annoyed as well. I don't know if I would pull my pledge, but here's why...
