Yeah, the Junkyard table doesn't even remotely play like TPA. I think the bumpers are also a bit more realistic. No longer getting Super Jets without applying any effort. TPA, in general, was great, FX3 is even better.
It occurred to me that a bakery/cafe could be an even better idea as people are willing to pay absurd amounts of money for coffee and pastries. Granted, cooking pastries requires actual baker skills, though croissants and pies could be pretty easy to manage and require fewer ingredients...
I was able to get to a place with Medieval Madness and was exceptionally impressed with how the Pinball FX3 port really had me tuned into the ramps for the real table. I remember playing that pin after having been used to the TPA version and the timing was completely different in real life with...
Arcade physics. It just seems different than the other tables. I have a much better feel for Champions Pub. I mean, I still suck, but just not as much.
The speed of the ball seems a bit crazy on ToM, as well as its trajectory (I keep flipping the ball up the side ramps!). Probably need more practice, or maybe the ToM I've played in real life, had a more forgiving slope or playing surface.
Mixed feelings about the group. Generally Zen has done a good job of putting in at least one table I think I'd really like and then at least one table I have no care for. The wild card is the third table. I'm mixed on WW, not yet a fan of Red and Ted, but can get happy for Hurricane.
The very local place to us started slow and now they have expanded the building I think doubled (or better) their pinball machines. They have issues on a couple tables, CV with no boom in the balloon, I don't think Monopoly is centered right as the ball keeps getting stuck, and the number of...
I wonder how much better SST would be if you could turn off the computerized sound / voice overs and just go with the table? Harley Davidson would benefit from that as well... and High Roller Casino... and... I'm noticing a pattern.
Regarding 6, it’d probably be a little more helpful if you could indicate which table or situation all those ‘bugs’ occur. As well as indicating your PC specs. If reproducible, it could be looked at, but random complaints that most people don’t seem to suffer from would likely fall into the void.
I have played Zaccaria without any troubles. I found it unplayable on an older laptop, but that was a resource thing. I really don't see much difference between playing the tables on the PC or on the Switch.
You listed off 5 issues (none of which are game breakers), 5 of which have been...
A properly tuned Centaur would be great. It is one of the only tables I could easily score better in real life than in TPA (PS3). Probably low enough to be a filler table maybe *hoping*? Circus Voltaire would seem to be one of the last main key anchor tables.
When playing Champions Pub, there seem to be a couple tiny rubber posts that can catch the ball and save it from draining in the right outlane. I don't recall this being in TPA. Am I crazy and forgetting it? I've only played Champions Pub a couple of games in real life and don't remember what...
