Mine is in the mail. The screen/resolution is unbelievable - higher PPI than any other tablet on the market, so great that I have decided not to buy anymore TPA packs until the resolution is upgraded - at least to iOS level. There's no reason Android should be treated like a red-headed stepchild...
when all the prev released tables are out, should we still expect two tables a month? I can only assume its a significant amount of work to start from scratch on two tables a month...
willing to bet win runs on Intel and android runs on a separate arm chip, I wouldn't expect this to be such a powerhouse on the android side, unfortunately.
I wouldn't expect HD screens to go away anytime soon. HD support is becoming more of a standard in gaming, something consumers demand when considering a purchase, rather than a nice option. its great to know TPA is looking into this =)
1920x1200px resolution, quad core processor, GPU 4x faster than last years model.
Pinball Arcade seriously needs to update their app to support better Android resolutions already... it's a bit embarrassing.
Tee' Off seems probable. Hopefully 8Ball Deluxe or SeaWitch for finishing close seconds in the polls. Those are the two I voted for and would be very happy with either.
Really loving Pin Bot, not overly complicated, great artwork. Centaur is decent too, but I really hope we get 8 Ball Deluxe in the near future since it has great gameplay.
PS3 and Vita are quite a hassle, would be better to just drop their support no? Vita doesn't seem there in terms of hardware quality, better to just play on cellphone and with the PS3, seems like their policy is having negative effects on the consumer.
completely agree, it would take a ton of time / code / maintenance to add little things here and there or a fleshed out environment. i would prefer that time / money / code go to improving tables, adding tables.
Two thoughts.
1) Nexus 7 is the best bang for your buck if you want a 7 tablet. Nexus 10 is the best bang for your buck if you want a 10" tablet (I've found 7" to be perfect for my needs). Both tablets are very well priced and have very good specs.
2) Google IO is in May, it is likely both...
This definitely needs to be an option, I don't think that us players with higher quality devices should suffer or get lower resolution options than iOS devices just because some players have low end siht phones.
