Arcade manufacturer Baytek has entered into the Pincab market.

I mean, a 55" playfield is really nice. And the cabinet itself looks great, albeit not exactly like a real pinball table. But...that price is insane for those hardware specs.

    Seattle Arcade Unveils Handsfree Pinball

Pinball Arcade and Stern Arcade PS4 running on the PS5

Not a chance. Pre-orders for the PS5 sell out seconds after they go up. They will sell millions of units. Same for Xbox. And, incidentally, you're making the same exact same arguments people made when we went from PS3 to PS4.

    Williams' Collection Volume 5 guesses

Man, if somebody sees Zen as small-time... I mean, we're talking about a company that's worked with South Park, *MARVEL*, and *STAR WARS*. There's no bigger licenses than those.

What Zen Original tables play the most like real pinball?

I've always felt like Sorcerer's Lair played the most like a real table.

BlahCade #149: Zen Studios Interview With Mel Kirk

Excellent interview. Very well done. Lots of great information from Mel. Side note: Mel sounds like a really nice guy. I loved everything he had to say about the future of Williams tables as well.

Time to fix all the bugs Farsight

When the news broke that they'd lost the Williams license, this was my exact thought. I would imagine Zen had approached Williams, or otherwise made it known they were "open" to talks, and Williams took a look at the state & history of TPA and, well, the rest is history.

Zen Pinball FX3 Williams Pinball Volume One

I would be surprised if they do much to darken or adjust the lighting. The vast, vast majority of their audience is going to want tables that are well-lit and not the "playing in a dark arcade" feel.

Zen Pinball FX3 Williams Pinball Volume One

If you're using an Xbox controller or similar for playing the games, you can use that to navigate the menus just fine. I didn't have to use my mouse or keyboard once.

Zen Pinball FX3 Williams Pinball Volume One

I just got done playing each table once in the beta. Wow. The tables all feel great to me. The physics, the way the ball rolls, etc, all feel very good. And definitely different than the previous Zen tables. The level of polish is very high and the games LOOK fantastic. Bottom line: I am...

Zen Pinball FX3 Williams Pinball Volume One

Zen has the money and backing to make licensing happen that Farsight simply could not. We've gotten Star Wars, Universal, and all the Marvel stuff. I would think the stuff we've gotten in TPA would be no problem ($100k to acquire a license? Zen can do that no problem). The others, like...

How Is The Original Pro Pinball Still So Good!?

Check Ebay. There's several copies on there for the PC, including a new/sealed one for $8.95. Same seller has Gamefest, also new/sealed, with all four Pro Pinball games , also for $8.95.

    New Release: Pinball Parlor (Steam)

Apparently just released is a new game on Steam - Pinball Parlor. Looks to be replicating 60s/70s-style tables. Unfortunately, the first two reviews of the game are savage :( Thought people might want to hear about it anyway. And here's a screenshot:

Tommy Pinball ( Like you have never seen it before )

Thanks for the reply. I've got a solid gaming system - can run the most-recent Doom in 1080p at 60fps with no issue - so hopefully can run your table. Will take a look. Thanks!

    Stern Pinball Arcade first impressions

I downloaded this last night and played only the free table, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein. I have no idea how the table looks or plays anywhere else as I've never seen it previously. With that caveat... I liked this a lot. The table sounds a lot better than PS$ Pinball Arcade tables. It...
