I get that pb2000 would be interesting from an archiving/collectors perspective. But they are far from the most entertaining and therefor not the most commercially attractive I assume. Even my 12 yr old thought the Star wars table was a giant snorefest the other day, as she drained the first...
Isnt the new Dragonball Z Fighterz considered the hottest thing going right now? Ive heard nothing but great things from all players across all fighting communities that are generally more walled off for 'their' game.
Yea, I spent the better part of january to april setting up my emulatorbox and researching youtube for games lol. And then this thread made me revisit it for the last 2 weeks updatong and tinkering.
Mostly cause they have a licensee who do not want to be associated with a non-E rating.
No matter how much suprised they were about the demand for the Williamspack, they dont want to kill the goose with the golden starwars/marvelleggs.
Pretty much Im afraid. Im afraid of smash bros. coming out soon. She has mastered that since she inherited my old n64 at age 7.
Its funny when these guys drop buy (very few girls come over to play games here it seems). She just schools these punks in tetris and mario kart who try to impress...
My 22 yr old stepdaughter (Im 40), likes to play SF2, Tetris Battle gaiden, Tetris Attack, Money Puzzle exchanger Super bomberman and super puzzle fighter 2 versus me. Oh and she also puts those games on when her friends are over. Its kinda funny how old arcade and snesgames are pretty cool to...
I really need to stop watching random snesdrunk and metaljesusrocks videos. They keep bringing up games 'you must play'. Now it has me hunting for some segaCD games I've never heard of before lol. Lords of thunder, Dark Wizard, Keio Flying Squadron. I'm spending more time looking at...
The full list for PS mini has been announced: https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018-10-29-playstation-classics-full-list-of-20-games
Personally not that interested as
a) First gen 3D games really haven't aged as well as 8 and 16 bit sprites;
b) PS1 games run fine on my SNES mini setup.
Now...
Nothing wrong with freemium models where you buy in for a whole new character, level, hat or dance. ie: TPA/Zen. Heck I dont mind it in paid stuff like SF5 or Destiny either. The developer put in more time to expand, of course I’m willing to pay to get it.
Still not much of a problem for...
New super Mario Bros WiiU is coming as well. Which is a really solid singleplayer 2D mario with great challenging levels. Even though the NSMB brand has a bad rep, that one might as well be considered Super Mario Bros 4.
Hey Mel, nice to hear from you through this less formal channel. Got to say, after playing some real life Junk Yard and Medieval Madness his week, I'm even more impressed than I already was (played Fish Tales as well, but the RL table had some weird-ass flippers so I couldn't compare). Looking...
Damn it, more stuff to track down and patch....with those PSX suggestions my 64 GB USBdrive is now full lol. Guess I can throw of some psp or psx junk of it. Also I should try some of those PSX games. Not sure I'm into the arpg and survival games that were mentioned.
BTW, Shin Megami Tensei...
On the emulation front...
TMNT, Simpsons, X-man, New Super Mario Bros, All sorts of Mario Karts
Non-emulation? Super Mario World 3D, Diablo 3, Rocket League, Mario Kart 8dx
Compare that to yesterday, where I was playing in a public arade with tons of kids around, on an Elvira and the Partymonsters where the backglass was...let's say ....adjusted (link minus the black rectangle).
Can't outdutch the Dutch I guess :)
Genesis just never ever clicked for me, ever. Not the machine nor the games. I'm pretty sure this isn't a "I was a nintendo-kid so sega sucks" either. I didn't really know that was a thing untill way later. I never had 8-bit or 16-bit consoles as we didnt have the budget for a machine like that...
