It's disappointing that Zen has left out the ability to use a gamepad in Pinball2 for MacOS.
In the past, I've used "Joystick Mapper" as a go-between. Maybe it'll work for you. It's found on the app store:

On the plus side, Zen will be releasing a new publication/book titled "How to Alienate and Disappoint Your Customers". I'm sure it'll be out *soon*.
Seriously though, how many failures (including exclusivity) can they expect to endure? VR only, Apple Arcade only, Epic Store only, blah blah.
I wholeheartedly agree. It's beyond ridiculous. I was so excited about Zen and it's pinball product/software. Now, being alienated, I've turned away from them. I feared craziness would happen with the acquisition, and here it is.
My 2 cents.
This is totally disappointing. Ignore this post, because rant starting in 3..2..1.. I liked what Zen has been doing with the Williams/Bally license, and eagerly awaited for more. Then, their pinball drought of 2020, news of acquisition, abandoning FX3, migrating to another exclusive store...
So, where's the new Pinball FX? I was under the impression it's to be released today, April 29. (based on Zen saying the Mandalorian table is coming to StarWars VR *and* PinballFX).

Funding is successful, and they're moving in and getting the machines assembled! On a personal note, I'm planning a trip to Utah this year and will swing by Las Vegas and the PHoF...I'm excited!
I'll have to agree on the "grinding is pointless" viewpoint. I generally don't play games on mobile device, but thought it might be fun to enjoy my favorite hobby while on-the-go. Surprisingly, I couldn't simply buy and play any of the tables. App deleted. Just my $0.02
I'm generally excited about pinball news, but this has been very disappointing from Zen. VR has no interest for me. I'd much prefer new table releases and better cabinet support. Their announcements are just about useless fluff. Maybe the Mandalorian will be fun, but seems a new PinballFX...
Oh no! Is this a good thing? I suppose it's good if this gives Zen more pull for licensing (in pinball games). However, will Embracer be in charge and make decisions for Zen?
The other unlicensed DMDs: JackBot, Cactus Canyon, Who Dun It. There are plenty of good alphanumerics to choose from: Bride of Pinbot, Taxi, Diner, Whirlwind, Black Knight 2000, Earth Shaker. ;)
I had a chance to play this one (Avengers) last weekend. It's plenty fun! I'm really enjoying the latest tables from Stern: Avengers, TMNT, Jurassic Park, Elvira's House of Horrors, Black Knight Sword of Rage. They all are quality tables.
This is awesome news! I've been to the original location (Tropicana), and it's superb. This will definitely be on my to-do list whenever in Vegas next.
