I finally gave Steam a try. Not sure what took me so long, but it's very nice to be back on track. I've got a FT at home, so will probably wait to see what's added to season 3 but I went with the season 2 tables for now.
Silly question, but I've never played on Steam before. Can you plug & play with an Xbox 360 controller on Windows 7? I'm curious what kind of setup you steam users prefer - keyboard or some other device?
I'm kind of in a different gaming zone than I was a couple of years ago. I'm spending...
Trophies? I don't pay any attention to that crap. I can't begin to compete against the multitudes of people with more free time, because they win every time. What little gaming time I have is dedicated to my own fun.
Do you know how to run any of the diagnostic tests? If not, at least turn the machine off and then back on. You'll see an error message during startup if there are any switch errors.
One of my pet peeves are when a seller says "it's an easy fix". Yeah, if it's so easy then fix it before you...
I'm glad to see some classic 80's stern on the list... looking forward to Flight 2000. Space Shuttle seems a bit harder than on PHOF but they've improved it. Centaur is really sweet and a welcome addition. Makes me think they aught to add more tables that people vote for.

What about Pin*Bot? You should be able to find that for at least 1k less than your JB.
Whatever you're thinking about buying I'd recommend you look up a few videos on youtube to make sure it doesn't have anything that turns you off (annoying sound, boring gameplay, etc).
I've heard good...
Whenever possible I use Pinball Life. Terry is very helpful and has decent prices. I've purchased glass, legs, flipper rebuilds, rubber rings, plastic parts and fuses.
I've used Marco for some specialty stuff whenever PL doesn't have it in stock. Their prices tend to be a bit higher...
Good luck finding your first pin! I've had a blast maintaining and upgrading mine. If you have a title in mind that you're questing for you'll probably overpay a bit... but in the end you'll be happy because you got the pin you wanted.
Congrats on your first pin! I noticed you posted on pinside, which is a also great resource. I bought my first pin about a year ago and now have 3... and pinside has been extremely helpful since none of my games are in pristine condition. My advice would be to not kill yourself trying to get...
