Space Shuttle- the HUD is cut off on the R hand side, there is no longer a display of the # of balls, and the score HUD portion has no border on the right.
There is still the issue of an extra 0 being displayed for player 1 and players 2 and 4 are not displaying completely as the 1's digit is cut off.

There is still the issue of an extra 0 being displayed for player 1 and players 2 and 4 are not displaying completely as the 1's digit is cut off.

You'll need to manually delete and reinstall Dr. Dude, Space Shuttle and White Water.

I know I'm kind of nitpicking here but the center row of the HUD looks like someone cut it in half with an exacto knife.

It's like that to match the spacing between the "credits" and the "ball in play" displays on the backglass.

Hmm, that new HUD on Space Shuttle is Ridiculous. Why didn't FS go to a on demand, per player, score display like on Gorgar. Rather than the stacked empty score displays?

Even using view 3 on a Nexus 10 the HUD eats up a lot of real estate and gets in the way of the roll overs. I can imagine this would be a large problem on smaller screens, with potentially drastic effects in landscape perspective.

I think Superballs is referring to the line that runs through the 2nd line of the HUD display. Not the spacing between the credits and # of balls display section.

Because on some game events like multiball and match, all displays are used. With stunning numeric animations. We need those, right. Right?

That close-up of Space Shuttle is not too bad, I have to say. Better to see the lighting effects on the shuttle than the top view I saw, which looked a bit flat. Good that this table has a darker lighting theme, good for lighting effects and athmosphere. WW should be toned down, already said that. We need some more screenshots, some fly-overs for better judgement.

Take it controller support wasn't squeezed into this beta due to available time.

I tried plugging controller via OTG cable but no response in TPA (this works in Zen).

Anyone got this to work? If so what are the mappings?

Ryan - will nudge via controller d-pad (including nudge up - please) be implemented when working?

With the reported support for controllers, and the inability to connect Wii motes because of Android 4.2.1, I decided to test out my generic BT keyboard. The keyboard is probably the only BT HID that will work on the TF300T at the moment.

The tl: dr is that it didn't work.

What was interesting is after playing for a while without touching any keys on the keyboard, it goes into hibernation and disconnects from the table to save power on both devices. This is something TPA didn't like.

On Space Shuttle, the screen blanked, and then recovered after 1 second. But when I launched another ball, I had a ghost ball image in the shooter lane.

When re-downloading the new RES files for SS, DD, and WW, I decided to turn off the BT on the tablet half way through the download. Big mistake. TPA dumped me back to the main screen, then force closed.

I think there's something fishy going on with how TPA handles BT stack functionality. I know the OUYA controller stuff is still very fresh, but hopefully these two instances of instability will help narrow down the issue.

Ryan, did you want me to run logcat or something and see if I can capture any log events relating to this?

Yep, I've had the ghost ball too.

Also had two gamebreaking involving the same elements.

BH; locked the last ball for multiball on the upper playfield, had one EB stacked. Nothing happened, call attendant didn't work and tilting did feed the next ball. (this was on Nexus 7 w/ stcok JB)

Space Shuttle; came out of multiball, collected an EB locked the frist ball and BANG game ended to the insert initials screen. (this on SGSII w/ stock JB)

Yeah sorry I should have been clearer on that. It's really small and I probably only noticed because my attention was drawn to the changes in the HUD mentioned.

I've also had the ghost ball, when exiting to home screen or hitting the lock button and returning to the game. It doesn't effect gameplay but it is kinda weird.
