Bug 16:10 portrait resolutions still not working in DX11 Build.

I gave the DX11 version another try today after I realized that it's out of beta now (some time already, I know).
The camera is still way off on a 16:10 display in portrait mode, so that the lower part of the screen get's cut off. In DX9 everything is working fine.
Also 16:10 resolutions don't appear in the drop down menu of the launcher in DX11 options. You can enter them by hand, but this doesn't fix the cut off part. Makes it less worse though.

Are there any plans to fix this issues?

I have a 1680x1050 resolution. It doesn't appear in the DX11 launcher options. In the DX9 options it is there.

Btw. I think that maybe portrait mode in DX11 is broken no matter what aspect ratio you are using. Can somebody confirm this? On most tables the flippers get cut off at the bottom of the screen, especially in camera view 1.

This bug has been around since dx11's beta. It effects 4:5 ratio screens too (mine is 1024x1280). Mike was able to recreate the issue on his end. He mentioned to me Friday that his engine guy will be looking into this hopefully this week!! Hope it gets fixed, I wanna finally play dx11!!!! Tired of my flippers being cropped out!

16:9 works fine.

In the DX11 tab, you just have to set the resolution of the back buffer. Keep it 16:10. 1920x1200 won't harm your screen.
Higher resolutions get downsampled to your native resolution 1680x1050.

I think it's more complex of an issue. Increasing the resolution values will do nothing. The game's cameras (in dx11) are locked at 16x9 and 9x16. The flippers will still be cropped out once the table play begins (if you have a 4:5 or 10:16 monitor).

I know. I didn't try to solve his problem. Only Farsight can fix this.
His native resolution of 1680x1050 is currently not selectable. If he doesn't want to type values manually,
I recommend 1920x1200, which is a standard these days.
High resolutions require more computing power ...

You can bandaid this by using the free camera mod one of the forums users released and setting the camera properly yourself through that. There's a subforum up top you can find the info for that in. I still hope the game proper gets it fixed though just for consistency, and because I imagine most people buying the game don't know about the free cam mod.

e: Oh yeah and please make windowed fullscreen mode work for DX11. It's not a huge issue but it's much nicer without the window bar up top taking up screenspace.

16x9 1080x1920

Works a treat in portrait mode but i still have to alt-enter 3 times which is an annoyance though.

Flippers cut off/camera issue and game not starting in correct resolution in full screen are being looked at by the engine programmer. I'll let you know when we have a fix.

I am having similar issues... i am not as technical as you guys, but in DX9, i can run 1024x1280, in DX 11 I have to run 1024x1024... and loose the flippers. is this the place to mention such an issue ( running potrait on an 10yr old 50" plasma tv) ( also a firum noob, sorry)

How dare you!
Just kidding. This is a serious issue and farsight seems to be in some strange 16:9 lobby and punishing people for their display choice now that they have released dx11 out of nowhere. They seem to ignore it. Can't believe the new engine can't handle 16:10.

I'm not sure if I'm having the exact same problem you guys are, but DX11 resolution is screwed up for me. I'm on a 16:9 1920x1080 tv and have the back buffer set to 3840x2160 and TPA set to full screen. TPA runs in full screen, but I have big letterboxing on the top and bottom of the screen.

I captured some footage and it weirdly reported it was running at 1440x1080. I uploaded a video to youtube here:
https://youtu.be/IcAI8-0SeP4
You can see the letterboxing and also that the image does not fill the entire horizontal span. I've tried setting the back buffer to 1920x1080, but weird issues still persist.

Win10 Pro
i7 2700k
GTX980 w/ 355.60 drivers
primary monitor: Samsung 40" 1920x1080 tv via DVI to VGA
secondary monitor: Dell U2713HM 27" 2560x1440 via DisplayPort

Edit: Hmmm. Setting the back buffer to 3840x2880 filled my screen. 3840x2160 should be the UHD 16:9 resolution though. No idea why it doesn't fill my screen. 2880 should be for 5k.
