Yeah, didn't have a while lot of choice in that... Plus, as my name suggests, I'm the 3rd. :-\ Being a 3rd kind of cuts down on my street cred...

I'd get that one from Newegg. It's an i7 instead of an i5, and a GTX 760 instead of a 660, plus it's cheaper. All in all, that's one hell of a PC and you'll be able to play anything you can throw at it.

You can't go wrong either way but I'd probably get the one from Newegg because it's slightly better. The only thing worse is the video ram is 1.5gb compared to the video ram being 2gb on the cyberpower system.

Finally got my PC. Decided to go to Micro Center in Columbus OH due to the great selection and prices.

Intel(R) Core™ i5-4570K 3.20 GHz
8GB (4GBx2) DDR3/1600MHz RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB

My question now is what settings should i be running TPA on? I've been playing some demo versions of the tables on Steam and i'm underwhelmed graphically speaking. (The PC is hooked up to a 32" Sony Bravia 720p via HDMI)

From the PBA config utility turn everything off, only ball reflection high.
Then turn the eye candy on from the nvidia control panel. Force antialiasing 8x, aniso 16x etc etc. Go nuts.

We use GTX 660's here at the office, do you should be able to max out the settings.

Run the configuration utility.

Since your TV is 720, set the resolution to 1280x720

In the Graphics settings
Post Processing: On (although some like the look of off, so try both)
Anti-Aliasing: 8X (12x and 16x usually get reverted to 8x due to a DirectX 9 limitation)
Texture Filtering: Aniso (x16)
Ball Reflection: High

If you have integrated video (attached your monitor to your motherboard), then you would definitely need an actual video card. I have a Radeon HD 6670 that plays TPA just perfectly with high settings. Also, you would need at least Windows 7 since XP is no longer being supported by Microsoft.

Most PC gamers choose to build a PC over buy a brand name (like myself). I do believe the best brand and model to get would be the Dell Optiplex.

Conclusion, all you would need is a graphics card (an HD 6670 at least or equivalent) and the OS must be at least Win 7.
