Not sure if Atari tables would ever be considered for The Pinball Arcade, but I have to think these days they may leave no stone unturned!

So, IF Atari tables are ever added to The Pinball Arcade, what would you most like to see?

(You can vote for up to 5 tables).

Info about each of the choices can be found at the links below, thanks to the IPDB...

4X4 (1983)
Airborne Avenger (1977)
Hercules (1979)
Middle Earth (1978)
Neutron Star (1981) (prototype)
Road Runner (1979)
Space Riders (1978)
Superman (1979)
The Atarians (1976)
Time 2000 (1977)

I've only ever played Superman multiple times - there is one at a local bowling alley if I really wanted to play it regularly, but it's not in that great a shape - but I'd definitely want it in TPA. Great artwork, and it's Steve Ritchie's first ever table. It's a lot of fun.

I played Hercules once. I mean, as a gimmick, it's fine, but really, would it translate at all to TPA? No, not at all. Don't even go there.

Voted for Superman, Space Riders and Middle Earth. Really only voted for Middle Earth because of the unique layout and the art. It's not a very good pin. Space Riders would be my top Atari want.

The rest I'd rather not see FarSight dedicate slots to. I guess Airborne Avenger and The Atarians would have been my next picks.

I had never seen Road Runner before. Decided to look it up when I saw how many votes it has. Now I wish I had voted for it. It looks as good as Space Riders and Superman.

I dunno, you two are pretty shifty characters. A hip young cooligan like me can't listen to his elders.

(I completely agree, though. I love 70s/80s pins.)

I’ve played a few Atari pins over the years. They sometimes use non-traditional flipper placement. Gave their pins an unusual feel. Would be cool additions for their uniqueness and rarity.

The results thus far...

1. Superman (1979)
2. Road Runner (1979)
3. (TIE) Airborne Avenger (1977) & Hercules (1979) & Middle Earth (1978)
4. (TIE) Space Riders (1978) & The Atarians (1976)
5. Time 2000 (1977)

I got to play Time 2000 at the Louisville Arcade Expo earlier this year and I think it's getting a bit of a raw deal in this poll. It's one of the most unique tables I've ever played and think it would translate really well to TPA.

Voted for Superman because it's the only one I've ever played. Voted for Road Runner, too. Wasn't it a prototype?
