A camera setting based on player height

This isn't really a request since I don't expect it to be added to the current incarnation of TPA, but one thing I would like to see in a pinball video game some day is a camera setting based on the height of the simulated player, ie you tell the game that you're 6'2" (or eh whatever that is in metric for you metric people), and it positions the camera to be where the eyes of someone of that height, in shoes (adding an inch or so to the height I suppose), would be seeing the table from in the typical pinball-playing stance. (Maybe even have several stance settings to choose from if you want to get ridiculously fancy. : P)

Something like that would make much more sense to me than having arbitrary presets that mostly seem to correspond to the viewpoints of only rather short people, or insects sitting near the bottom of the table glass (or, worse, flying around over the glass to follow the ball : pp); if it's a pinball simulation I want to be able to play the simulated table from the angle at which I would play the real table.

I thought the average person was 5'8"... 6'2" would put the camera too high :)

Though, when I play, I tend to lean over the bar a bit so I'm a bit closer and lower.

I've played many RT machines while sitting on a bar stool: Gorgar and BK comes to mind. I've also danced like Rick Stetta. That was back in the 80's after a long night out at the dance clubs and then going to another bar at opened at 6am on Sat and Sun to listen more New Wave and dancing to the music while playing Elvira PM. Those were the days.

Edited to say this was a response to netizen's post about balancing on a bar stool.

Eh, there's a bit of a flaw with that thought process. Many players lean to get different angles on the playfield anyway. Other than children, I'm not sure I know of anyone who plays pinball perfectly upright.

I'm glad you'll be able to turn the event camera off soon, I know when I last played a real Dr. Dude I didn't push my face against the glass every time the ball entered the mixmaster.
