Oh okay, i always thought the ball moves in the same way you nudge a cabinet, that explains why im so crap IRL lol

Maybe this will help a little: If you're standing in front of a real machine, whichever way you want the ball to "move", push from that side. So if you want the ball to go left, push with your left hand. Remember, it's not the ball you're nudging, but the table underneath the ball.
