(An attempt at) The top 40 TPA players from leaderboard scores

... I just have not gotten down how to nail the Super Jackpot consistently. I'm sure there is a way... I built them up to 650M

I was stuck at 125M for hours, how about sharing the choices you made when dealing with multiball?

Just keep shooting two way combo. Goes up a million each time. It resets at 255m. You are looking at 32.6b each rotation. I did two rotations last night (going for jackpots at first) for 77b. Simple as that.

No one has mentioned that previously on the tables forum, I'll try that in the future if I don't figure out how Slam23 backhands the ball up ramp from the left flipper.. whenever I tried it it falls into the bumpers or outlanes coming back down the ramp.

Just out of interest...if you play offline and get a decent score, does your scoring get updated next time you go online?

Nope. You have to be online when you finish the game for the score to get posted.

It does work on iOS and although in the past there have been reports of (physics) differences between different platform versions of a table, I haven't heard anybody from the PC crowd say this about HSII.

It's not clear from your post what the problem is:
- are you connected to the internet whn playing?: only then the TPA leaderboard will take your scores
- are you logged in while playing?
- have you tried logging out and in again?
- try the HOF restore button after doing a remote safe

I second what Slam23 said. Also, I don't know anything about the devices in your profile. You may want to ask in the forum for those devices if you can't get it going. Good luck.

I got 24B with Mark's 2-Way Combo strategy, on PC/DX11. Previous high was ~6B. It may not make sense but I felt like I was playing like crap. Spent most of the time chasing EB's and kickback. At 21B I was up to a 175M 2-Way Combo, and (only) a 300M Super Jackpot. Helicopter Bonus was 41M and I had 82 Tunnels then, FWIW. This took around two hours, I'm not sure because I took many "breaks" to work on stuff. I don't know if this strat will help people who can jack the SJ past 1B, but it certainly helped me, so thanks!

I am on the Internet when I play and am also logged in...I did log off and back on and when I tried the HOF POINTS restore I actually lost some points!!!��

An example...on the TPA website my high score on Black Rose is just under 174 million while at the BR table high scores I'm at 393 million.

Do you calculate your top 100 scores from the TPA website invitro??

it does sound like a bad connection problem: clearly some of your local scores were not saved to the leaderboards. It could also be bad luck in the form that the TPA leaderboards were down when you got your score. That may explain why you did get HOF points for that local score. Sorry to hear you lost some of those. Otherwise I have no idea what the problem exactly is. You could try contacting TPA about this.

I do. Specifically, from the "DOWNLOAD This Table's Current Data" files available from the website. (These are identical or nearly so to the ones I see in game, though I understand that PS3 players see something different for certain tables, like FH and BH.)

I can't imagine that this way is faster than the super jackpot strategy. And it's very boring...

Well it seems fine enough to get higher on the board, 4th for the moment so thanks to you [MENTION=311]Mark Miwurdz[/MENTION], I was going to drain after I reset the two-way loops but came up short at like 242, ~4hrs in. I was surprised I lasted that long with a headache, with all the flashing on HS2 it was killing my eyes

thankfully gpu video encoding isn't so bad for pinball material.

I can't remember the exact time for my 132B game, think it was 6 or 7 hours. You shot 38B in 4 hours...

New lesson, just because your internet worked before the game started doesn't mean it will when you're watching the DMD do the last bonus calculation an hour later, guess I'm pausing and checking before I drain on ball 3 in the future.

Sounds like an excellent project, but depending on your definition of "facets", you might be talking about a thousand-page book. Can you be more specific, with examples for one or two tables?

y'know obscure quirks that you find out afterwards, don't drain near the 9.9bn mark on judge dread.. the game may not register that you rolled the table from it's bad math.. (is my guess) during bonus calculation and the next ball launch, don't roll certain tables with high value shots.. I haven't encountered more but I'd rather not play tables that do have these.
