A question for Tarek, vikingerik, about EaTPM... seriously, how long did getting those scores (1.5B, 800M) take?! Took me the best part of 1.5-2h for 173M, and scoring doesn't get any faster or bigger once you've maxed the left ramp at 300K to light the Million. And the ball takes a LOOOOOOONG time to travel round that left ramp.

I can't remember exactly, for sure <10 hours. Very easy and boring table. If you get the EB every ball it´s playable for ever...

I figured that. Well, as long as you don't light locks by accident. If you do that you risk house balls from plunging after collecting the 3M, though I think it may be safe to short-plunge?

Another table where I'm no longer inspired to go back to it.

Next low-hanging fruit I think is T2. 2B gets a top 50 score there and my best score is around 500M for #888.

This wasn't mine. I don't own season 3.

I honestly have no memory of playing that game now. Best guess is 5-6 hours or so. I think I switched over to playing multiball instead of the left ramp once I had the #1 score at the time (500M) just because it was less boring.

Okay, Top 15. And I just put up the #36 score for EaTPM (173M) to start on my account for the next one.

Ah man, you give me memories of being the first to get to a billion, then quitting at 998 million because I was afraid it wouldn't register. I've been away from the game for a while and was disappointed to find that while I still have a few top tens, my Funhouse score was deleted for some reason.

But also, damn, the amount of TIME that took. Even if I could approach your score, I don't know if I could do it...

But oh, just realized... with PS4s suspend feature, this opens up possibilities...hmm.
Edit: does anyone know if there's issues with resuming a game from PS4's rest mode, and registering a score on the leaderboard? I wonder, because Bloodborne had a bug with this and they patched it by forcing you to return to the main menu when you turned the PS4 back on, if you had been playing online mode. This would obviously be bad if it were a similar case for TPA.

I don't know anything about the PS4 but no one with an iPad will come close to those scores either. If you set the iPad down, the game resets if it sleeps, if not the first time-eventually it will.

Hi Chris. Make sure you lock rotation before starting your game. I leave games paused on my iPad all the time with no issues.

I leave the iPad on when taking a break from a good game, I just have to remember to keep it charged at the same time too... :) It's not the most eco-friendly way of doing things, but that way I'm sure I can pick up the game again (often only to burn through the remaining balls at lightspeed. I think the best advice I ever got, was taking a break just before a huge MB to have enough time to get back into focus after the break, props to VikingErik for that one). If I don't do anything else on the iPad and suspend it, I also found no problems. It gets problematic when you start other apps besides TPA, like Safari or something. Then TPA hangs and resets itself. This is on a iPad Air 2 with proper memory, older devices don't handle this well I remember that from my iPad 2.

while I still have a few top tens, my Funhouse score was deleted for some reason.

On the website leaderboards, it's the only table on which my highscore is not registered (161M, rank #101 in the game leaderboards). "Ouazegaga Has No Scores"

I play a game recently (on PS3), thinking that beat my highscore would register it on the website, but the score is not even registered in the Weekly or Monthly leaderboards (98M, I didn't success ^^), but it is registered normally in the TPA game leaderboards though.

It seems the website leaderboards don't collect the highscore of Funhouse (all-time and weekly/monthly), at least on PS3.

PS: Thanks to you LAW, now we can access to all highscores of a player on a single page (User Details) by clicking on the player ID on a table leaderboard. Nice! (as the "My Scores" page didn't work for PSN players). Thanks!

PC Master Race, you guys. No suspending or crashing or anything.

Slam23, I'm amazed that anyone gets up to top leaderboard spots on an iPad. Touchscreen controls are just so much less precise. You'd totally dominate with keyboard or gamepad controls.

Funhouse has long had something wrong with fragmentation on its leaderboard. phreaker47's 998M always showed up on some platforms but not others. No other table has this problem that I've known of, though.

I also remember my first games IRL that I´ve stopped at 999M and I´m not sure but think that this was needed in the first ROM versions. In later ROMs like the TPA one the game display the complete billion score during multiball. But not in the high score entry. :)
I´m sure most of the top players can reach this score, this is more a question of time than a question of skill. Maybe there are differences in fast scoring, I´ve got twenty 10M Plus in a row for example.
Funhouse was easy in IRL, the TPA Version is much easier. Anyway a great theme and one of my all time favorites.
But now it´s enough. At least for the rest of the year... :)

Yeah, it does become just a matter of how long you're willing to grind it. The thing about FH on TPA is EVERY mirror eject can be caught on either flipper, every time. That's enough to open the door. All I did was mirror>rudy shot>repeat to get the extra ball on every ball. Also, just keep hitting the mirror shot after that over and over to run the clock up to 12 (that's the real secret, I think. Almost zero risk to get MB going.)

Same with BOP. I quit at 32B. Then I posted in this forum about how you actually can get more billions beyond the 8th one if you just keep at it, and lo and behold my score got shattered several times over within a couple of weeks.

I got 8 billion on a real BOP back in the day. I remember being frustrated that after several more big wheel spins I didn't get another billion chance. I never knew at the time that there was this limit (and too difficult in IRL to get far enough to find that limit can actually be broken)

I was unaware of this issue on Funhouse, I'll see if I can get some eyes on it.

Speaking of which, we have purged a number of scores from the leaderboards, including many in the top 20 and the known duplicate identity scores.
If you are interested in seeing exactly what scores were cleared out, we have added a link in the leaderboards page to download a csv list of them.

If you believe we've incorrectly deleted a legitimate score, please let myself or support know and we'll review it.

- The "Logout" option has disappeared from the 'My Account' tab;
- The Leaderboards tab no longer recognizes I'm logged in, so it doesn't reflect my preferences;
- On switching to the Leaderboards tab, 'Weekly' is highlighted but 'All-Time' scores are listed.
