@Jared - Those tables were updated, just nothing visual was changed, just the bit alignment to prevent crashes. Basically we fixed an engine bug.
No problem
I'm not sure if you're aware, but the clue to finding out whether a table has updated "assets" (things like graphics, physics, and bug fixes), is that when you scroll through the table list, the game's attract music is replaced by the default Pinball Arcade menu music (listen for the "cowbell" track when you scroll between them).
@Ryan, I don't know if this is possible to implement easily (probably more of a cross-platform implementation task) but having a way to auto-update all game assets on first-run after a Google Play / sideloaded Beta Build update would be absolutely AWESOME!.
In the case of the latest update, a menu system that has each table listed and a status bar (rather than one generic "updating table assets" status bar that would crawl by the pixel for this many tables).
('scuse my "awesome" ASCII-style menu example. I'm sure Jason could probably improve on this )
Code:========================================== | Attack From Mars 0% |----x------| 100% | | Star Trek: TNG 0% |-------x---| 100% | | Genie 0% |--x--------| 100% | | Twilight Zone 0% |----x------| 100% | | Medieval Madness 0% |-------x---| 100% | ==========================================
And a way for this data to be downloaded as a background android task would also be awesome!
There is nothing worse that this updating process being interrupted and you have to start all over again.
We just discussed this in our meeting today. Just a heads up we will me implementing a manage table feature where you can delete and in the future update all tables.
Autoplunge on MM and AFM.
You can do this manually via usb but we want to make it more user friendly.
-I meant was star trek the only table to have the button/trigger issue.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before. This is about the nudge in touch controls.
If you are holding left flipper up and nudge left the left flipper will flip when the table is nudged. This also happens with the right flipper and the right nudge.
When holding up both flippers touch nudge doesn't work at all.
I'm not sure if these controls are intentional since I'm not sure if you can nudge while holding the flippers in RL. But I do notice you can nudge with the shake controls no matter which flipper(s) are held, and the Wii PHOF never had this
issue.
This is a serious problem if I try to trap balls on one flipper and use the other to keep control of the remaining ball.
+1 - This drives me nuts too.
Cradling a ball on a flipper, nudge on same side =flipper energises.
Holding the left flipper while hitting the start button to start the game will initiate the 'Digital Pinball Selected" mode. This will give you Digital Pinball as your first Basement Award.
or is Android stuck not being able to engage this mode by having no flipper control prior to pressing the start button?
my trick is to use my left thumb to press the glowing start button and then - without (!!) leaving the touch screen - slide your thumb over to the left. It should say "digital pinball selected". ... (It shouldn't be so obscure though!)
This is a very, very, cool trick.

Edit: I noticed PA doesn't register a third touch altogether, so I can't pause or change the camera angle with both flippers held.
If I'm not mistaken, that's a hardware limitation of your tablet, some Android devices only register 2 touches at once.
