Any way to play TPA from my iPad Air 2 to a vertical 37" led tv????

I was wondering if there is any way I could make a video pinball cab and use my iPad air2 to mirror my TPA screen to a vertical led tv?

I've used a standard lightning to HDMI cable to feed video signal to my smart TV and although it worked, it had so much lag that I found it unplayable.

Yeah, you're going to get very noticeable lag no matter how you do it.
