Anyone else experience a "dead" flipper button press?

I get that problem intermittently with Star Trek only because I'm often pressing the launch trigger instead of the right flipper in my phone.

Yeah, it ends up that's what it was... having my finger partially on the launch button. I've moved it up.

I got this on android a couple times, turns out it was my router that was having micropauses and it caused some hickups in wifi connection with phone which caused micro hickups in touchscreen sensitivity.
