I have found myself in this tournament trying to beat my previous score as opposed to those ahead of me. Just not interested I guess.

Gold Level Final Update.
dylan_h overall winner! Congratz!
Since I've seen it be asked what's the high scores after the tournament, I captured some information right before the tournament closed.
These were the highest scores and who had them as of April 8, 12:50 EDT (16:50 GMT) for the Gold Level:

My thoughts on tournament tables after the event:
Harley Davidson: Get multi-ball; Get multi-ball jackpots for 20 minutes. Try for Super jackpots. Blah. Yawn. Who is that mystery rider? - there he goes… but to where? And why is he always following me? Stalker.
T2: Get multi-ball; Get jackpots for 20 minutes; Occasional payback time. "Get Out". Surprised gold high score didn't break 1 billion. One of my favorite games. Like how the jackpot are harder and harder to get.
Central Park: Learn all the nudges! Great practice for how ball reacts to different nudges. Ramp up to specials by ball 3 - Collect many specials for extra balls and keep the ball in the bummers. Listen to monkey ring the bell. Didn't even come closed to a 20 minute game, like this game more after tournament. Appreciate the layout more then before tournament.
ChampPub: First time I got to champion level! Didn't know there was a wager at the end. Would have wagered more. Took most of 20 minutes to get there. Still think I have more to learn on this game. Goal to get to champion level in regular game.
Dr. Dude: Despise Dr. Dude even more now then before tournament. Got extremely lucky with my score. "Mix it up". Dr. Dude should take it's own advice. I find this game dull, voice over annoying, wizard mode lacking.
Fish Tales: Keep looping for Monster Fish. Get Multiball when good shot from left flipper. Lightning flippers drive me crazy. So does the left out lane.
Black Rose: Get multi-ball, loop ramps. Sink ships; rinse; repeat for 20 minutes. This does prove challelenging and enjoyable to me. Think the DMD and voice over really helps here. Plus I like the cannon shot.
Haunted House: Get double score on all levels. Light extra ball. Get extra balls. Keep ball alive during double score. Like this game much more now after tournement. Have to change shots to different levels to get the extra balls, play to the double score, light other levels. Really makes you think where you are going next and how the shot off of 8 flippers.
Had fun during the tournament! Looking forward to the next one!

this was my first try at tournament, finished 18th I think and promoted to silver.
About table selection..... The only two that I usally play are T2 and DD but my scores were nowhere near the top. 905M on T2 is just crazy, how many superjackpots that guy got?
HH- terrible table, would be much better with just one pair of bottom flipperes
HD- boooooooooring........ 37 multiball modes but almost impossible to hit anything when 4 balls are in play. Except one of the other balls. Arghhhhhhh
FT- don't like it much, there's so many things to hit in the upper part of playfiled but yet, most of the balls end up in some post or something. And draining from slingshot bouncing really annoys me.
BR- hate those black flippers, and in combination with upper part light show makes the ball very difficult to see. And I hate canon, worst then one on T2 or STTNG
TCP- crappy table, fights are the main goal and the biggest draining reason
CP- why are those EM's so much easier to tilt than SS ones?
Tornament made me play some tables much more and I managed to improve my highscores on some of them and I'm relly looking forward to the next one.

I actually posted some personal bests in this tournament and would have checked off a few wizard goals if it would have let me.

You will find that your play is much improved after tournaments. I started ripping off goals and PB's after my first tourney. Not sure if they make the tables harder somehow during the tournament (I feel FT is a bit easier now after the tourney though I haven't come close to my PB in a couple games) But this is my fifth or sixth tournament and I didn't start achieving major HOF points until after that first one.
