Backglass Cannon

You hit the flippers, and a ball in the backglass goes up & back down. What is the point of this? There is no strategy to it that I can see.

The point is to give beginners some fun & easy points, and experts a little break. I'm hardcore competition & strategy, but some things can just be entertaining & fun.

If you want deep strategy, the Fire the Cannon mode is worth quite a bit of points, so in the TPA tournaments it might have to be factored in whether to go for an extra Side Show.
