Best camera angle to score?

I used to use 4 for the dramatic cam angle but I switched to 2 and am beating my old records in the first couple of games. What's the beast cam angle for higher scoring?

Depends. The angles are not 100% consistent, though there are some patterns, such as deep vs. shallow (how close the playfield is to the glass). Whichever one you're most comfortable with. I find the higher angles better, with cam 2 the most common. The flipper level view is virtually useless to me, but there are many who use it and do well.

I use the highest one (#3 on PS3). Don't understand the lower ones. :p Could use an even higher one on some of the tables--I'm 6'2" and used to seeing them from a bit higher up.

also a #4 on Funhouse is not the same as #4 on Ripley's. On funhouse is almost useless. But other than that I try to keep a high angle but not too far such as #3.

#1 is my choice lately

I choose the one that matches my height best as that's the way I was used to seeing the table in real life. My daughter is 8 inches shorter than I am and chooses the same ones that I choose. In her case she is choosing the view that she wishes she had in real life! :D

Oh yeah, gotta keep it locked. And I wish it wouldn't still zoom in on certain things when you have the lock on--like it'll still zoom in on the ball launch for TotAN and Taxi, annoyingly.

I play in landscape, locked camera, always. I use angle #2 for most tables and #1 for the tables where #2 seems too distant.

Now hold on a sec, are the camera numbers the same across all platforms? I thought I read somewhere that they aren't. Anyway on PS3, camera #3 is the highest view point. Is that the case on all the other systems?

Here's my theory, see if this applies to anyone: Higher cams are better for nudging because you can predict the path of the ball easier. Lower cams are better for making shots because you can see the flipper easier.

(Thanks for clearing up the camera numbers guys. : )

Why do you need to see the flippers particularly to make shots? When I'm looking to make a shot I'm looking more at the target than at the flippers, I think.

I dunno maybe its just me, but when the flipper is a little bigger I can nail shots. But I only want that angle for certain shots, then go to a higher angle on the fly to track the ball. Maybe a smartcam option should be implemented? I demand a customizable smartcam! New thread coming.
