There's no need to have a Kickstarter for a non-licensed table. The point of the Kickstarter is to pay for the license.

About to. Going on a walk in the beautiful mountains in a few minutes. Google Stairway to heaven Oahu. That's where I will be in about an hour. Hopefully it will get my blood pressure down.

Today I took my iPad into the kitchen and turned up the volume all the way while playing Central Park. I knew all the bells would annoy the hell out of my wife and it did. She screamed for me to turn it down while my daughter and I had a good laugh over it.

haha Fun times indeed! There was a particular song in a game called Tenchu Wrath of Heaven, had kind of a strange groaning sound that was mixed into the music from time to time, and it drove my wife crazy. I used to have fun cranking that up! haha

As for which table gets worked on first...between the top two of the poll I'm sure whichever one Farsight likes better will probably get the nudge, no matter which one is officially in the lead....unless it was a landslide win and that does not appear to be the case here.

Am I correct in my research that Sea Witch has no multi-ball feature and Flight 2000 does? If that is the case, I am glad that I voted for Flight 2000.

Flight 2000 definitely does have multi ball. A very rewarding multiball. You have to spell BLASTOFF, knock down the drop targets in order, 5 4 3 2 1 and then shoot 3 balls into the launcher too.

Re lack of votes for Nine Ball:
Not surprising to me as they wouldn't stay in a playable state! Don't know if Kirk's design was too advanced for Stern's engineering or the software was to blame, but often 10 minutes into a game the ball locks would jam. This went on for months at a test location. So even though about 2500 were produced the number of games played isn't that big.
Though it WAS cool when it worked!

I remember watching that video and thanks for confirming that Flight 2000 had multi-ball and it did look fun. Then the one question that remains is, does Sea Witch have a multi-ball function? My research says no, but just want to make sure.

I want to ask the question because to some humans, it might make a difference whether a Solid State machine has multi-ball or not.

Thanks for answering my question everyone.

Further thought:
The surprise to me is Meteor. Classic game, put Stern on the "credibility map", and made a name for Kirk.
I thought it was fun, even if eventually boring.

Personally I'm fine with PHoF re-releases since those games have never been released on the PC and some of the other platforms,

They are sure to run out by next year since there are only several tables that can be guaranteed release : El Dorado - City of Gold, Victory, Tee'd Off, Jive Time, Pin*Bot, Sorcerer, and Whirlwind.

Play Boy and Ace High are too old and focused on replay earning, Goin' Nuts is probably too rare to digitize properly, and Strikes and Spares is just a bowling game with flippers.

I'd rather see triple strike over strikes and spares any day. Though ts has less to do it somehow stays exciting and is very challenging.

Why do people keep saying that they aren't doing Strikes and Spares? Because it sucks? Because it isn't typical pinball? They actually said on their Facebook page as a response to soneone's comment 6-12 months ago that they did plan to do Strikes and Spares. And they never said that they didn't plan to do it since then to the best of my knowledge. And I wouldn't be surprised if they did playboy either.

Strikes and Spares is a typical pin. Just has a bowling theme.

Ballot stuffing? Seriously guys, must have something better to do.

Impossible... We use only Diebold machines here

Modern Stern games are relegated to pre-SAM system tables due to emulation issues. Basically anything pre-2006 i believe:

Striker Xtreme
Sharkey's Shootout
High Roller Casino
Austin Powers™
Monopoly™
NFL
Playboy®
RollerCoaster Tycoon
The Simpsons Pinball Party
Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines
The Lord of the Rings
Elvis®
