Wow-I didn't know Time Travel and Bone Busting were considered to be sports. (Although Dr. Who does have the "hurdles" video mode)

Hey time travel is physically demanding if golf, driving and bowling count it should too :p

Only sport with semi consistent 'bone busting' I can think of is MMA, what has been seen cannot be unssen (shudders)

There's gonna be A.G. Soccer and two more Capcom tables, so that only leaves room for 3 more.
One of them's gonna be Banzai Run for sure, but I'm not too sure if Farsight can afford Congo or The Shadow, here's hoping.

Two Gottliebs per season is already a bit too much. Season 4 was one of the best because there weren't any.

Gottlieb did make a lot of great EMs and SS tables, and some are well-represented in TPA. The problem is they haven't been choosing good Premier tables. (Yes there are a few, with Surf N' Safari being one of them.)

I think FarSight should have opened season 6 with BR instead of I500. I500 is good, but probably much, much more fun IRL. Nice to have Pat Lawlor's first table design in TPA. BTW, have you seen the "Dialed In" videos yet? He's still got it!!

Hopefully you're right about Capcom. I've predicted that BBB will close out season 6, but I'm beginning to think Pinball Magic will come before it. PM is still pretty good, and it's high time to get some Capcom love in TPA.

MSF airs on ESPN (and was formerly on ABC). Both are owned by Disney. Not happenin'....

Mostly I was making fun of the AT&T/Time Warner deal, and the fact that Disney has enough dough to buy both. I know it's not happening, as it would require a huge kick-starter. Imagine what the IJ tables deal would cost............

It just makes me sick to my stomach to know that AT&T now ostensibly owns the rights to Robotron 2084 my all-time favorite non-pinball game.
I'm not sure who owns the rights to WMS pinball games-obviously it wasn't part of the WB acquisition deal (thank goodness). If that had been the case, I don't think TPA would've come along as far as it has.

As far as I know, it's some company in Australia that has the WMS pinball rights. They're the same ones who are building the Medieval Madness remake (actually I believe they contracted out Stern's factory to build the tables).

I don't know about the video games, since Williams still makes casino games (poker, slots, etc.).

Alright, we're halfway through the season and @invitro; hasn't updated the standings, so I will.

Snorzel, I counted your late entry and since you didn't have a #2, I split Ace High and Centigrade 37, with Ace High as #2 and Centigrade 37 as #7 (so you get good points for the one that is happening... and who knows?)

Sorry @kaworu; but your entry is too late for official consideration, but please keep following along and join in with the Season 7 competition.

Would I have done this if I weren't winning? Probably not, but as we all know, the voting is rigged, right?

Scores are pretty decent across the board since nearly everyone had Indy 500 as #1 because we knew already, and most correctly put Dr Who at #4 because the Kickstarter said it would be in September and it was. Anyway, enough blabbering, on with the countdown:

not so fun fact: those slot machines is one of the major reason Williams quit making pinball machines.

That and casinos are still jumping. Arcades, eh, not so much.

But now we have more companies like American Pinball, Heighway, Jersey Jack, and a few others making machines, in addition to Stern.

Still, long live WMS pinball!
