Disable Home button

I am so frustrated (why do all my threads start with that?!)! Had a super game on Gorgar and was already way over my high score and accidently hit the home button while center nudging, it happens from time to time. Got kicked out of the game, usually it is possible to get back if you just activate it from the bottom "running" apps but this time no...Tried 2 more hours without getting close to it.

Is it possible to disable the home button so this doesn't happen again (and again, and again)?!

Apple would never allow that, unfortunately.

I usually just rotate the screen to the button is on the top. Just be aware of the power button which is now on the bottom.
