I restart...

i mainly do it if I'm chasing a goal, or going fora really high score.

In real life i ALWAYS play it out, just in case get that match or have a big comeback and get my replay.

A bad ball one means i don't have enough focus to get that high score.

In real life that replay matters a lot more so i go for it,and ten make my attempt at the top score next time.

No. Each ball is another chance to practice getting better at making shots. There's literally no drawback to playing through a crappy game if you are playing casually.

Do you restart a game after a low scoring ball? Or do you play out the credit?

No, I've never done it, and I've never been tempted to.

To me, that's cheating, and it's not pinball! When I win a high score, I want to know that I really won it, and didn't get it by cheating. I have my pride.

I never do it either. I've had quite a few games where a crappy first ball turns into a hi score.

Paragon,
You pull the plunger the bounces off 2 things that don’t give points
Then the ball drains,
Then you pick the machine up and smash it in raged ander.

I didn't at first but then you get a great 2nd and 3rd (etc.) ball, thinking what your score could have been if not for that lousy first ball. So yeah, if it's not a new table or trying for some "one ball" wizard goal, I'll just restart the game. One-ball wizard goals are not only the "score xx points on one ball" but also where the table resets your progress at the start of every new ball.
