I have an S7 Edge and went through every table to see what it did when you hit the start button to actually start a table. Here is what happens for me at least.

Tables that play correctly: Indy 500, Frank Thomas Big Hurt, Eight Ball Deluxe, Rescue 911, TX Sector, and Black Hole.

Tables that play but only sounds you hear are the bumpers, flippers, plunger, drop targets and you have to manually exit the table after final ball drains: Fire Power, Black Night, and Genie.

Tables that play but only sounds you hear are stated above but these tables end correctly when final ball drains: Big Shot, Fireball, Goin' Nuts, and El Dorado.

Tables that freeze on the table view: Cirqus Voltaire and Bride of Pinbot.

Tables that crash the app and force it to close: Black Rose, Hurricane, Last Action Hero, Judge Dredd, Frankenstein, F-14, Phantom of the Opera, Addams Family, Cyclone, Jackbot, Taxi, Twilight Zone, Elvira and the Party Monsters, Gorgar, Medieval Madness, Central Park, Class of 1812, Victory, Cue Ball Wizard, High Roller Casino, Junk Yard, High Speed, Who Dunnit, Black Night 2000, and Fish Tales.

Tables that get stuck on the overhead scrolling view of the table: Space Shuttle, Cactus Canyon, Dr. Dude, Attack from Mars, Star Trek the Next Generation, Elvira Scared Stiff, No Good Gophers, Funhouse, Harley Davidson, Creature From the Black Lagoon, Whitewater, Centaur, Monster Bash, Pinbot, The Champions Pub, Whirlwind, Flight 2000, El Dorada City of Gold, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, Haunted House, Tee'd Off, Theater of Magic, Ripley's Believe It or Not, Tales of the Arabian Night, Dracula, Lights - Camera - Action, SafeCracker, No Fear, The Getaway: High Speed II, Party Zone, EarthShaker, Starship Troopers, Xenon, Diner, and Red & Ted's Roadshow.

So on my S7 Edge that I said above, this is a break down of what happens on the individual tables for me.

I am having the same problem, ball missing and tables crashes. Sometimes the whole cabinet is missing. Version 2.03.6 is really the buggiest version so far. Huawei Mate S (2.03.6 HUAWEI CRR-L09) Android 6.0.

I have 1 solution to this problem. Open the tables through the shopping cart the tables will always play fine BUT you are only able to select the first table if there was a double release.

These updates are like a horror story, you never know what is around the corner...

Thankyou FlippyFloppy for informing us that you are working on an update. One thing that really annoys me is that you cannot see the full display in the new interface.

The display that shows the score. This is before starting the game and when game is over. Also would be very happy if FarSight added Big Guns table.

It's jarring to not be able to play most of my tables. It's a good thing EBD is so great and addictive, it makes it a lot easier to wait for the patch/fix to roll out.

The whole "break/fix" cycle that we have been seeing pretty much since the new UI rolled out on Android makes me suspect that the TPA team doesn't have a dedicated software tester, at least on the Android platform. If they did, there would be no excuse for releasing software that has "show stopper" bugs that would have been obvious if anyone had done a full regression test before publishing it to Google Play.

I suspect they have made the business decision to have the developers do the testing, and take the hit on reputation/reviews. Hiring a good tester is not cheap, and likewise investing in automated testing is expensive, they have to make the judgement on the business side of the cost/benefit. But with the dizzying release schedule, it's no surprise that the dev has to move on to the next table or feature and is not focused on spending the time needed to fully validate the build.

Hopefully when Stern Pinball Arcade rolls out there will be new revenue and possibly new pressures to improve quality control.
