I've started using the TZ "Spiral" ball. It's just contrasty enough so that it doesn't get lost against busy table artwork like the silverball sometimes does.

The one with the jagged lines on it can be usefull to detect the spin on your ball. The colloured ones can be usefull if they clash with the playfield's colours enough (easier to spot). The one that makes the ball look like solidified lava is cool to use on Corgar. On Star Trek TNG I use the skin that makes your ball look like a planet.

When will we actually see these on the PS3?
I remember they said we (PS3 owners) would get a free ball skin back over the Summer, but I think they forgot about it.
