Just got back from the Los Angeles ComiKaze expo today, and much to my surprise Farsight was there! They had a booth setup right next to the Elvira museum showcasing a real Elvira and the Party Monsters pinball machine, and of course two TPA setups showing off the latest tables on xbox360. The two guys running the booth turned out to be Bobby King and Norman Stepansky. It was very cool to see them both out there personally promoting their amazing product. And it was great to hear how enthusiastic they are about the Pinball Arcade Fans forum here as well as the renewed rise in pinball popularity. After talking to these guys, I can say that there are some very exciting things in store for us in the next couple of years.
I also got to play both Taxi and Elvira and the Party Monsters! Of which, Taxi is by far my new favorite TPA title. The physics were truly outstanding, capturing all of the fun & excitement of the real table. And although I'm not quite as familiar with the real Elvira and TPM, I think this table is going to be tons of fun as well.
If you're reading this, Bobby and Norman, it was a pleasure to meet you guys. Keep up the good work!
