lol this comment is pretty ironic to me. This might be the first poll that showed some people on here do have decent aesthetic taste. I assumed Fireball would win. Xenon is beautiful, the synthesized sounds and speech produced by Suzanne Ciani are fantastic.

I'm assuming that FS took the top 10 nominations for the poll.

Many of the tables in the poll got 1 nomination while Bally's Lost World got 2 nominations, so that can't be it.

What's even weirder is that Mata Hari didn't get any nomination but made it in the poll.

Can someone from Farsight shed some light on this matter?

Perhaps they looked at the comment section of their Facebook thread. Pretty sure I saw several Mata Hari's there. It's a pleasant simple table. I'm actually surprised how much love it's getting in the poll.

Also at this point I hope Paragon's popularity has warranted it's inclusion into TPA even if it doesn't win.

Xenon was made in 1979.

Also, I really wish Travel Time was on the poll. That's a great timed game.

I voted for Paragon. Xenon is a boring table and shouldn't even be included in the list as far as I'm concerned because it isn't a pre 1980 game. Not sure why Farsight even chose to include it in the list.

The more I think about this poll, the more I am thinking that perhaps Farsight had some electromechanical pins in mind when they started this. It looks like they want to add to the two they already have: Big Shot & Central Park. While Xenon looks very pretty, it's not all that different from a lot of what Farsight offers now. I mean we got some awesome pins like Dracula, Fish Tales, High Speed, etc. I am thinking that this is an opportunity to do something different for a change. Consider that we are going to be getting aa lot more of what we already like soon anyway with AF, ST and the like. While the old electromechanical pins don't have the same kind of fast play that the modern pins do, they are by no means boring (well some are). It would be nice to see an old classic like Friendship 7, Bronco, or the like. I am changing my vote to anything electromechanical. I do not always need bells and whistles. Just my opinion.
