No, Extork. That is bad. I´m actual place 20 for all tables. I want to go further. The result is not so bad for me. About 7 hours left.

Some hours ago the tournament page didn`t accept my mail-adress. Maybe server was not available (for me!?) for a short time. Since then no problems.

I also have limited time.

Participate Silver next event. Fine! Congrats to all the very good players from PAF.

I think no time limit + no EB's is exactly what JPelter wants. Is this how it used to be? The tourneys came to PC after this.

Before the time limit implementation,, only BH had no extra balls. On all the tables: infinite time + extra balls. Oh boy, it was hell.

Well I gotta ask... you've put lots of time in the tourneys, hundreds of hours I'd guess, so is this because you think the current format is bad, or are you just bored of it?

The question is not meant to me, but since 3 or 4 tourneys, I play like there is a ~1-attempt rule, no "quit-&-restart".

Sure, I could do a LOT better with more attempts and more grind (quit and restart, play the whole 20mn on all tables), but I have no desire to do so.
In fact, I find tourneys more enjoyabe when playing like that, even if I have a so-so overall ranking, and that I'm distanced in the All-Time Ranking (currently #12, 300 points behind the 8th now -and more after this tournament I think).

However, it seems a lot of players doesn't own all the tables in this tourney, so my overall ranking is not as bad as it should be.

No EBs and possibly limited attempts would be great I think.

For me. The tourneys are what they are. Some tables such as BH I had no desire to grind out 15-20 minutes on the lower level. I think I made 2 attempts. Hurricane also. Had a pretty good score that held up most of the week so I stayed away from it. Others such as F2K I admit I played this a lot. Couldn't get a darn thing going. Rage quit a bunch of times.
Sure it would be nice to have a different format now and again. What I don't get is the extra ball complaint. Extra balls are part of the rules for every table we have. I don't see why those rules need to be altered. Extra balls are given for a reason. Either a certain score or a combination of shots made etc. Shouldn't have to change that to enjoy a tournament.

Oh, it's over? Well I guess because Tarek didn't participate this time I finished one place higher than I would have otherwise Just annoyed about my F2K score - I had everything set up on ball 1, and got house-balled on my last 3 balls so left over 3 minutes on the clock.

I did that in all my attempts of f2k and space shuttle. I could still get knocked out of first of Martin beats my HRC or BH game. Go Martin!

+1 to what [MENTION=2327]Tann[/MENTION] said up there. I think I'm gonna start playing like that. First ball drains, no big deal, keep going. Cause I got so hung up on making the first ball last the whole time for TOTAN that I didn't even get a good score. And then didn't even get a chance to concentrate on other tables today. Well, SS. What a swear fear that was. I'm picturing whoever made that table as Dr Claw. And his evil plan was to make a table where the pop bumpers drain it without a chance to flip

I feel like I need to play Space Sh*ttle now just for revenge. Just to get better I guess. I don't like that a lot of the drains seem un-nudgeable. Though I only really use left/right nudges, and sometimes downward. It's not that bad of a table or anything, it's just not my cup o tea

Okay, 20 out of 382 gold. Worst day I had playing these farsight tourneys was placing first in silver now stuck in gold.
At any rate, some suggestions on improving this tourney and bring it to the next level:
1. Limit attempts. Number doesn't have to be low, just limiting.
2. Separate platforms. iOS should not compete with pc should not compete with android Yadda Yadda. Perhaps come up with both an overall score then a separate platform score.
3. Award prizes to X spots. T-shirts, caps, upgraded tables, one free upload game or upgrade, what-have-you.
4. Keep 20 min time, decide eb's or no eb's for each table.
5. Have a level beyond gold, maybe diamond, for say, top 10 or top 10% of gold to compete in. Drop bottom 10% to lower level (may be doing this already, not sure).

Finished 104 in Gold, wanted to improve on some scores but didn't get a chance. Also was somehow knocked down to Bronze during the week and finished at 32 without playing all the tables.

Finished 40 out of 1,124 in my first Bronze tournament. Didn't even get a chance to play Cue Ball Wizard either. Still proud of this accomplishment though.
