Seriously I hate FB with a passion. Reimbursing Gordon for this site every month can't cost that much can it? Zen has an active PR person who knows what's going on and if not she finds out. I nominate PiNWIZ to be the official paid PR spokesman. I think having an official forum and PR guy would help with communication issues tremendously. I also respect the people who make the masters list for issues. but FS I know has limited resources. If FS doesn't do these things information will continue to be fumbled around. Like last week I had no idead Season 1 pro mode was going to be sold seperately for $9.99 and I spent $8 on only 2 . Communication breakdown. Good song too.

I don't know much about PiNWIZ but I reckon he probably has his own job! And lives in Texas.

It would be great to get more input but it also opens up a can of worms. You see how some people react on Facebook when they don't receive an answer. Not to mention the likely amount of private messages that reo would get. Pinwiz knows his stuff and has some line on insider info but he doesn't work for them and even if he did, any company rep has a limit on what they're allowed to tell. He has an admirable amount of patience which would make him an ideal candidate but like espy said, be probably has enough other stuff on his plate.

I do agree that it would be nice to know about upcoming sales and I don't see the harm in a FarSight employee posting a thread on here just a day or so in advance to announce it. Maybe they think that most of the forum members have bought the tables or pro modes already. Facebook just caters to a much larger and more casual audience.

While on the subject of Facebook.
Not that it would ever happen but I'd love FarSight to be as equally blunt and tactless as many of the people on their Facebook page.

Examples

"I want The Addams Family!". FarSight answers "Yea, you and everyone else."
"Where the f*ck is the xbox 360 version, a$$holes!" FarSight answers "Buy a PS3."

Honestly, you could go on and on with examples. FarSight should do this. People love to be told off and put in their place. It would probably more than double the activity on FarSight's FB page.

I would love to see them tell people off...no such thing as bad publicity.

I actually prefer the Facebook page. There's a lot more freedom to post an opinion without chance of getting banned.

Also, the Mod is a really good guy. He usually answers everyone's questions and is perfectly fine with criticism.

For someone who prefers the Facebook page, you went through an awful lot of effort to return here after you were banned the first time. Goodbye again...

Haha, that was pretty funny. "It's good to be the king!"

Seriously though, I cannot imagine reading the Facebook page. I just "like" the new releases and maybe read the initial post. The comments are too depressing. I did feel like making a joke post in response to the Black Knight 2000 announcement saying "Whatever, just release my favourite table of all time asshats!" You know, just to fit in.

If Farsight was going to have an official forum this would be a good choice, but why go through the bother when there's a site with an active community they can interact with, minus the hassle of running the place? I'd sure as hell choose this set-up if I was them!
