Bug alert!! At :30 and 1:14 on this video, the ball is cleary missed by the flipper, but is still 'hit'. I think there is an over-sensitve collision detection bug happening here.

But just put on a playlist consisting of Queen, The Police, 10CC, Supertramp and some other splendid acts of the day, augment it with those bleep, chimes and bloorps, and you have yourselves the timemachine that Stephen Hawking couldn't invent.
