I've been told you need 1 gb of ram and ios 10. I think that makes the cutoff ipad 4.

I've got a iPad mini 2 with the latest IOS 11 and it runs pretty good. Just the occasional jumping

Crashes on my iPad Pro 12,9. This years model. Not Even able to start the table

got it today (iOS) and launching from the main menu (since its not in the table menu) it would just freeze.
FIX go to settings, manage tables - delete ghostbusters (it was there even though i never downloaded the trial)
click download owned to re download GB - and should work.

Hey guys, found another big issue.

Decided to try it again just cuz it's Halloween and I played video mode for the first time. Don't Cross The Streams is incredibly laggy to the point of unplayable. It seems to be running at half speed to start and once a multiple ghosts are on screen it's a slo-motion slideshow.

This is a farce - I’ve been waiting for SPA to update and then textures are missing and there’s a big circular ‘joystick’ overlay on all of the tables. Farsight need to get rid of that.

Nearly done with all of this - this is years of incompetence now.

I know they wanted this out for Halloween. But, I'd rather them just say they are having issues with it, delay it, and release a good working version when it's ready.

The hologram is also borked. I don't think it's unfair at this point to question FS on their stream on the QA process and how these obvious deficiencies are being glossed over and product is being released in a poor state. If that means reducing the # of tables and increasing table cost to maintain staff...so be it. The quality is now suffering and its time to review the release schedule vs stable product.

I saw the update yesterday on iOS SPA and was waiting to see the feedback this morning - looks like I will be holding off for a while longer before buying the table pack for GB/Mustang.

I actually wasn't annoyed this time that the iOS SPA release was taking longer because I was thinking they must be squashing bugs. And they probably were. It's too bad so many still got through the QA testing cycle.


Also noticing that there is an update to Star Trek, but the Alpha Quadrant insert STILL DOES NOT LIGHT UP.
And there is an update to AC/DC, but HOLDING THE FLIPPERS FOR INSTANT INFO STILL DOES NOT WORK.
All I can see in these updates is that they added the joystick overlay to the screen, what the heck is that even doing there?

The biggest question is, how long is it going to take for them to fix this? I need a fully playable version of Ghostbusters before I spend another dime on SPA, and I think it's reasonable to have the fairly significant bugs above fixed after a year.

As always, I only get ornery about this stuff because I love FarSight's product so much. It can be so well done, and unique, and I've gotten more enjoyment from TPA/SPA than pretty much any other video game over the last few years.

I'm with you guys and I agree that there is no way these issues are slipping through QA unnoticed. They are releasing these tables in this state knowingly and at $10 that's pretty insulting, let alone $5.

Ghostbusters was originally going to release in January, then "Spring." 10 months later it finally releases and it is, by far, the most borked table they've released in recent memory. So many blatantly obvious issues that we all noticed on the first play.

The arrows indicating lit shots during modes don't light! I mean, come on! What is even going on at FS?

My crossbuy isn’t working on SPA for pretty much every table other than RBION after today’s update. So I tried logging out and logging back in to see if that would clear it up. Only problem is, now I can not log back in. There is a back arrow in the middle of the keyboard. When I try to enter my email address I have to hit letters that touch the arrow and it kicks me out of the login screen. Happens in portrait and landscape. Anyone one else bump into this issue?

I did try restoring purchases first, but that didn’t work. That’s why I tried logging out, then back in. I did pass it on to support as well.

I opened HRC last night and it downloaded the new version, and to my great surprise it looks like the playfield inserts have been fixed in the latest update, at least on my iPad Air 1.

Another thing I figured out by accident is what the joystick overlay does - it basically lets you control the ball, move it around the playfield. I suspect this is a testing feature that was left in (possibly by accident...) I actually like having it there, although it would really mess with the leaderboards since you can basically play a game forever and put the ball wherever you want at any time.

good catch, this is a pro feature that is permanently on - since the stern version doesn't have a pro menu there is nowhere to turn it off. the ball control only works on the tables that were ported from TPA - the new tables (ST, ACDC, GB, Mustang) has the controller but it doesn't work.

I "think" the leaderboards work? Not sure. I lost my decent acdc score (that was reset) and not sure about star trek or mustang because i was never able to post to those. There are no leaderboard scores for GB - it just displays none

Any update on SPA Ghostbusters on iOS? Inserts fixed? How does it play?

On the blahcade podcast Jared and Chris suggested that FarSight should have put GB up as free table of the month, just so people can see if it works on their device before buying it. Even putting in a score-limited version would be good.
