My turkey is in the oven. Making sides now. Have to get the work done early. Once my brothers show up it's all football and beer. Have a great day everyone!

Wife and I work the weekend so we had dinner with her family last night and stayed home today. She gets a free turkey from work each year. I prepped it last night (bag style) and we cooked it today. She made home made potato filling and green bean casserole. We did seasoning packet turkey gravy along with Hawaiian Rolls as easy sides. Turned out pretty good and I chucked the turkey remains in the woods. Man, I love living in the woods.

Couldn't agree more with living in the woods. Bought this farm years ago and found a city girl who had enough of that life. Can't believe she's still here after a Ice Storm knocked our power out for 15 days.
